Wilder’s also taken a couple of real bad losses. Those Fury fights would have taken a lot out of both of them. Fortunately for Deontay he’s mentally real strong.coneye wrote: ↑05 Dec 2023, 06:10 Think in there dislike of AJ people are forgetting a couple of important things .
1--- Wilder can be outboxed , and you don'nt need a great deal of talent to do it
2---- Wilder can be hurt and put on his arse .
3---- AJ can punch when he lets his hands go .
Who would win , well thats a different question and i would'nt have a clue , i'd probably say whoever lands first . Wilders the bigger hitter , AJ is the better boxer ,
Not sure on that one mentally strong or deluded , problem with guys like Wilder they make excuses for there own shortcomings , rather than try and change them look at the excuses he made with Fury , instead of sitting down and saying where did we go wrong , what do we need to do different .maverick23 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2023, 07:43Wilder’s also taken a couple of real bad losses. He’s mentally strong because he’s so deluded. He has zero doubt that Fury cheated and that’s the only reason he lost those fights.coneye wrote: ↑05 Dec 2023, 09:50Not sure on that one mentally strong or deluded , problem with guys like Wilder they make excuses for there own shortcomings , rather than try and change them look at the excuses he made with Fury , instead of sitting down and saying where did we go wrong , what do we need to do different .maverick23 wrote: ↑05 Dec 2023, 07:43Wilder’s also taken a couple of real bad losses. Anthony Joshua and Deontay Wilder, who share a card in Riyadh on December 23rd, have reached a deal to meet on March 9th in Saudi Arabia if both men emerge victorious, according to a report from ESPN.com’s Mike Coppinger.
It is, of course, far from a given that both will win their upcoming fights.
Joshua (26-3, 23 KO) still looks to be in something of an identity crisis and is up against Otto Wallin (26-1, 14 KO), who has a proven track record of throwing wrenches into prematurely arranged matchups.
Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KO) likewise figures to have his hands full with Joseph Parker (33-3, 23 KO), who arguably has the best CV of any Wilder foe besides Tyson Fury.
Even after many years and some bad losses on both sides stripped away the luster, I'll admit to still wanting to see these two share a ring. Next to Fury vs Usyk, it remains the biggest and most lucrative fight the division has to offer.
Then again, I also love watching promoters' plans blow up in their faces, so I'm happy either way.

like Usyk Fury, I'll believe it when they are at the weigh in.
I do like this. Mike deserves it after him becoming a full time MTK shill.
Weeks. No comment officially on not being with James in future.CaptainSpacerod wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 00:18 How long has AJ been with Ben Davison

I think it's been a bit longer than that. I'm sure I heard AJ or Eddie say he was part of the last camp. From what I understand, the gym is close to AJ, he has friends who train there and he usually uses it between camps to stay in touch.SeanBrennan wrote: ↑16 Dec 2023, 09:05Weeks.
