Beterbiev is like Joe Frazier in that he nearly always loses the first round but by the 4th-6th you're getting grinded down by the power and pressure.

Bivol is class, but if Bert keeps plodding forwards it’s a very scary 40 mins ahead…

Have got Bivol 2 up, probably won't score rbr from now on tho, just want to concentrate on enjoying the fight.

true true, the fight is far from over, i remember bert losing the first 3 to marcus brown and then crushing him painfully after that

He doesn't look particularly shredded . . .I thought at the weigh-in with the love handles he didn't appear in top shape.
I don't think he looks significantly more smooth now than he did last year.

267lbs (now)

247lbs (last March)

He's flexing in the first pic and standing there in the second; apples and oranges. The video does it justice:
This is when he fought Jack Massey, he looks more or less the same condition just 20 odd pounds lighter, so much so, when I first heard the weight the other day I thought they'd miss-called it.

Unreal stuff. Did Bivol take a wobbly step back to the corner? Didn’t see anything land that would hurt him Mabey I imagined it but I swear I saw a little bamby step.

Bivol definitely knows he needs to do more in rounds than he did last time. Always throwing an extra punch with venom at the end of each exchange this fight.

30 - 27 Bivol, more determined and on focus than the first fight, but Beterbiev is starting to press.

Beterbiev took that round. His punches are heavy. Responding the Bivol's work rate in the previous rounds.

2-2 after 4. Beterbiev knows that Bivol gets credit for those combos even if most of the shots are blocked. He’s really trying to bring the tempo earlier this time.

Strong round for Beterbiev in the 4th. I had Bivol winning the first 3, but Beterbiev came on very strong there in the 4th.

3-1 Bivol

Could Beterbiev stop him?

Or is he gonna tire?
