Well done lad :TU:
Thanks. Closer than I thought would be but a wins a win. Was good for him to go 10 round tho. Hopefully he can push on next year

My scorecard...

10 - 8 Sutcliffe
9 - 10 Jenkins
10 - 9 Sutcliffe
10 - 9 Sutcliffe
9 - 10 Jenkins
9 - 10 Jenkins
9 - 10 Jenkins
10 - 9 Sutcliffe
9 - 10 Jenkins
10 - 9 Sutcliffe

95 - 94 Sutcliffe

I had it by one round to Sutcliffe. 5 rounds each with the knockdown deciding it. The knockdown was a flash knockdown and Jenkins will be kicking himself over it. I thought he threw away the 3rd and 4th rounds too. You have to give those rounds to Sutcliffe. The last round I also gave to Sutcliffe but it was scrappy as hell.

I expected Jenkins to do a lot better. I still think Sutcliffe is very basic. I will keep him in mind as someone I really want to be against. Looks like I'll get a good price because he's getting a lot of hype and no doubt will be overpriced. I'd love to see him matched vs Davies, Taylor, Nurse, Catterall - all beat him. I'd match him up with Ormond next. That's a good fight and I'd take Sutcliffe in that one.

I don't think Jenkins is as good as I originally thought. I wish he had a bigger punch because he's got very good defensive skills and good punch selection. I don't think he's aggressive enough and when he does land flush it doesn't have as big of an effect as I'd like. At this level that's not good in terms of moving on to european/world level.

Anyone else fancy Jamie Mcdonnell v Liborio Solis for KO win?

9/4 and I think Jamie will prove levels above this kid, though having money on Jamie to win by KO can make for a lot of shouting at the TV.

Fancy Murray to get a stoppage over this replacement tomorrow night, not impressed by what I have seen of him on you tube, not a lot granted but he is not the biggest middleweight and up at Super-Middle can see him getting bullied. 2/1 early with Bet365 was gone but have had the 7/4.
Just a personal opinion as I know some rate this kid so perhaps I am missing something, we will see tomorrow I guess.

I've logged into betfair and seen they're doing a matched bet offer up to 50. Has to be on odds of 1/5 or shorter. Btts yes/no market doesn't apply

I had a pre fight bet on Ortiz to win on points at 13/2 yesterday. After 2 rounds the odds went to 16s and I nibbled. After a knockdown these went to 25s and I nibbled. Disgrace of a fight but my bank balance made it the best 12 round fight I have ever seen.

Great shout that fella.

I'm thinking of starting a Profit/Loss type spreadsheet and recording all my Boxing bets in it?

Has anyone got a template or something similar? I'm useless with Excel.

I did this a few tyears ago for a couple of years. Makes interesting reading yourself. Especially when you look back at your bets and where fighters have gone since.

Regarding excel, to do something basic would be very easy.

I use one of these templates http://www.aussportsbetting.com/tools/b ... worksheet/

You pick the one that suits your version of excel or open office. I use this for all my bets boxing and other sports and its done the job... lets you see your real profit / loss in black and white, none of this "oh I think I'm about even" nonsense. As Littlekinny says it make very interesting reading if you maintain it accurately, some real what was I thinking moments to learn from.

Just a bit of input. May be of no use but if you feel the outcome of the ward kov fight will deffo be a full distance win then you can get ward 11 to 10 a kov 5 to 1. Not used to this betting thread put up a winner last week but what I'd like to know is it strictly for boxing or are other tips accepted. Thanks :bag:

Cannot see anything else but a Ward win. I think Kovalev is made for him. Ive had a rather lumpy bet on him at 5/6 which I reckon is a steal. Last big bet before Christmas so fingers crossed.

Not sure about that one. I don't think there is a fighter alive with a style to beat Ward as he adapts, nullifies and counters anything you throw at him. Regardless it's an intriguing fight and I'm really looking forward to it.

I'm not betting on Groves tomorrow. He's in against a guy who's one of the 5 people who beat GGG in his 350 amateur fights. Granted it's a different game and along time ago but it's still enough to put me off betting on this fight.

I've gone for Ward to beat Kovalev via decision. Even if Kovalev slightly edges it on our score cards. Ward will still get the decision in Las Vegas. I've done that bet with 2 sites where you get your money back as a free bet if you lose.

I've also put a large sum on Scarlett Moffatt to win I'm a Celeb @ 5/2. I cleared up when Rylan won CBB. I knew channel 4 were going to do everything possible to make sure he wins. As they were going to offer him a job at channel 4. Same thing with Scarlett Moffatt. She's extremely popular and now out of a job. She'll win I'm a Celeb and then work for ITV afterwards.

I've backed a Kovalev decision at 5/1.

I can't see this fight ending before the final bell, it's going all the way. If Ward can take Kovs power then all them punches to the arms are going to take their toll come the latter stages of the fight and I think Kov takes control.

5/1 is value.

I would have to be at home to check my word-pad document where all my bets are saved. One of them was 188bet. They are 11/10 on Ward decision. So £25 would pay £52.50 total.

So if you lose they will give you £25 back as a bonus. The bonus only has to be staked once too before you can withdraw it. So can't go wrong really.
