Not used to this betting thread put up a winner last week but what I'd like to know is it strictly for boxing or are other tips accepted. Thanks

All info welcomed as far as i've seen. In it to win it!!

Who is offering that?
I would have to be at home to check my word-pad document where all my bets are saved. One of them was 188bet. They are 11/10 on Ward decision. So £25 would pay £52.50 total.
So if you lose they will give you £25 back as a bonus. The bonus only has to be staked once too before you can withdraw it. So can't go wrong really.
Im presuming this is an offer when you open an account?
Correct!

conversely, ward is made for Kovalev!
Not sure about that one. I don't think there is a fighter alive with a style to beat Ward as he adapts, nullifies and counters anything you throw at him. Regardless it's an intriguing fight and I'm really looking forward to it.
To win the fight Ward has to match Kovalev for volume, while simultaneously running a marathon around the ring trying not to get hit. It's just highly doubtful to me that Ward has a path to victory at all.

Selby to win on points is 7/2 think that's a good bet personally. Also having a dabble on Ronny Mittag at 5/1, think the odds are wide of the mark on that one.

I do see where you're coming from but I think you're wide of the Mark. Ward won't match Kov for output and he won't need to. Kov can throw 1000 punches a round and it'll mean nothing if he's not connecting where as Ward might throw 10 and land them all. Im not sure Ward will run either, he might take his half a step back (as he did against Froch) and look to counter or break Kovs rhythm. Having said all that the test will be if Ward can take the genuine power that Kov holds. If he can he wins the fight. Not long now, heard the ring walk is 4am according to the Independent.

Ward will be stronger on the inside and will rough Kov up.

Backed Gvozdyk to win by stoppage against Chilemba at 9/2 think they are good odds I know Chilemba is tough, Durable and awkward but feel Gvozdyk could be the first to stop him late as he hits hard and is a very well schooled boxer who throws fantastic combinations

Paddy Gallagher 11/10 to beat Tamuka Mucha. Surely value there. Effectively the "home" fighter as well!

There it is again, where does this idea come from that kovalev won't be landing? He's probably the most accurate fighter in the world, and Sullivan Barrera landed on ward! He'll be landing. Which means the output thing, and wards chin, becomes critical.

Think ward kova is an in play fight. If ward doesn't flinch when that right comes the fight os over Imo. I fancy ward and I believe it is his time. Besides cant see the Russian winning in the us.
"you will lose"
"whatever he hits, he destroys"
Utter bollocks!

Cheers, very close fight for me, could've gone either way. Was ridiculous value. I'm gutted I couldn't get the double in, Selby really is class.

Kovalev/Ward
Two outcomes are overvalued by bookies (fans) and therefore not bettable:
Ward WIN, overvalued by -30 %
Kova KO, overvalued by -40 %
Two outcomes are undervalued:
Kova WIN, undervalued by 25 %
Kova PTS, undervalued by 135 %
This is the case of fans falling victims of boxing cliche, boxer beatas puncher and puncher wins by KO. In reality chances for winning between Kova and Ward here is near 50/50 and Kova by PTS is much more likely then by KO. Therefore the best betting option here is to take Kovalev by points at 6/1.

That's what I've gone for mate, although I only got 11/2. Was going to wait until just before the fight to see if the odds were any better but I didn't trust myself to be awake.

Yes its hovering in that range. Who knows if its not coming down in fact, those odds are very excessive. You would think after seeing Kovalev/Hopkins people would be more aware of how hard it is to KO very skilled defensive fighter.

That's my thinking as well. No matter how tricky things might get for Ward he's always going to be very difficult to hit and therefore very difficult to stop and Kovalev has shown that he's both able and willing to pile up the points and take a decision against that sort of boxer.

100% right. I thought Kovalev won by 2 rounds but he wasn't going to get the decision in Las Vegas. That's a couple of xmas presents paid for.

Phukkin shat it when Ward was dropped in the 2nd. Christmas was cancelled. All good though. It was very very close.

Fuming with the the Perez result cost me 5/6 on trebles, four folds and five folds. Wasn't even a close fight.
