If I clearly deserve to win 5 rounds 10-9 and 1 round 10-8, and you clearly deserve to win 6 rounds 10-9 it's a close fight that hands down should be won by me.

He was just classless as usual. He said im leaving with Paulie's belt and his girl. They looked like they had settled the beef and then Broner starts talking shit again.

Matthysse please
That would be a good fight I would favor Broner, If you want to see Broner hurt you go with Berto at 147..
I think Matthysse would be able to get him out of there, Paulie vs Maidana would be a good one too.

He may have great handspeed power and combinations, but his defence is as leaky as his contraception and his stamina is frankly sub-par for the level he fights at. An SD over a guy Hatton and Khan blew to pieces, well done champ!
Broner is a good fighter who uses his boorish schtick to make money and notoriety, I do think he is carefully matched and can be beaten by many 140-147 pound fighters..

Good one? Your the one who started running your mouth. Everyone has opinions. In boxing you can have a close winner but unanimous decision. But because your hiding in a basement you pop off. Good one..

How isn't that a close fight that was won hands down?

Tbh, I'd favour Alexander pretty heavily over Broner after that.

"Matthysse" immediately came to me when he said he wanted the fans to pick his next opponent lol. Broner v Khan would be a good matchup imo.

That is an awfully dickish thing to say, especially considering Paulie gave him hell, from what I have been reading.

I mean it's dickish either way, but he won a SD, it's not like he knocked him out in 1, he could be a lot more humble.

I used to think Broner was just putting on an act to sell fights and there is a set routine to what he says like an act. However, he genuinely is a prick i think. With Mayweather you can see glimmers of decency within him ie normally after fights he praises his opponent and doesnt say anything negative.

@Crusader

Because that hardly ever happens in boxing, you know that. That's why I mentioned the football thing. I mean, hardly anyone here even agrees on the score, and many disagree on even the winner.

If you saw it as a definite, let's say 115-113 fight that's fine, but I think you'd concede that's one round that if you saw it differently, the whole fight just changed. Two rounds, and it's literally a different winner.

If the rounds were THAT well defined, sure. But I don't know that I've ever seen that happen, particularly in a close fight.

He'll avoid Matthysse like the plague.
Anyone with any kind of jab and workrate is knocking Broner's head off, Maidana, Matthysse, Soto-Karass, Guerrero...

Cano is a 50-50 fight with Broner

Honestly don't think i'd ever pay to see Broner fight. Not even to see him lose. I just genuinely never want to see his sweaty face ever again.

I think either Khan would smash broner to pieces with his lightening fast combo's and wear him down or Broner would land one of his big pot shots he likes to throw and end the fight.

That was a top notch boxing match, fair play to Broner, I had him up 116-114, but he is not gaining any fans with really over-the-top trash talk. The right amount of it can be a good thing for publicity, but he may be going to far.

Paulie couldn't quite do enough, but Broner has probably lost some of his luster in the public eye by being taken to the limit when he was a huge favorite. People are gonna ask questions like: If Hatton could manhandle Paulie, why couldn't Broner?

If it can happen there's no mutual exclusivity.

I can think of several instances in which fighters won close but clear fights, such as Jamie McDonnell-Julio Ceja and Marco Huck-Ola Afolabi I. I also had Nathan Cleverly beating Tony Bellew 115-114 and I would've had it 114-114 if I scored the even round for Bellew, which would've been fair to do. Yet I couldn't find another round to score for Bellew, meaning that even though I had it so close and could see a draw I don't think a win for Bellew would've been fair.
