Young Fury's real name is Hughie.

From my understanding big Irish traveller families have never heard of him or his roots / family. The whole fury family is a bit of mystery. Never see any mothers. Tommy looks like he’s from north Pakistan.

Maybe it's just that I'm not familiar with English Irish travellers, but it's always seemed a bit off to me. I probably wouldn't believe it if not for the fact Andy Lee is Tyson's cousin. I think Andy says their mothers are cousins.

That's the interesting thing about learning another language just by being around people, like you said. I know some of those words and the context that they're used in, so it was just a guess really. The rules of different languages are mad. I learned German at school but then got my conversational German from an Austrian girl, so my German is all effed up. It's like my English isn't how they teach it in schools abroad so when I went backpacking on my own in India and Thailand and stuff, even though the universal language amongst backpackers was English the only person nobody could understand was me: the only actual English bloke. A French guy told me he thought I was Irish when I first met him.

It's like when I told Carlos I'd somehow infiltrated this Hispanic community in London, and he thought I could speak Spanish (and this is by no means another argument I'm trying to start, just an example: I'm really tired of arguing with people on here). I've got almost literally zero Spanish, and despite how I write on here I've seen videos of myself and jeez I'm hard to understand, because I use slang and run words together and talk too fast (probably something to do with hanging out with travellers when I was a teenager) so a lot of my non-English friends have told me how I talk is part of why they like me, because they want to understand too.

Rokka means to speak rumnes. So if you’re with your pals, and non traveler people, and want to keep something secret, you would rokka.

When do travellers stop being travellers if they live in houses , and just become normal englishman ,,, For me a traveller is someone who lives in a caravan and travels ,,,, My parents are Irish , lived in houses all there life ,, yet they went to Australia 40 plus years ago , bought a caravan and travelled around Australia , in a caravan living in it for 40 years till they died , they never ever lived in a house in Australia , yet they were not travellers , but yet they were , Fury lives in a house , yet is considered a traveller .

What constitutes a traveller

I grew up in a house ,, has far as i know the closest my parents came to a caravan was when they rented one on a park at blackpool and took us kids for a week ,,, But after they emigrated to Australia nearly years ago they bought a caravan , when they got there and started travelling , the lenght and breath of the country , they never bought a house just lived and travelled in a caravan yet they were not classed has travellers they ended there days back in the UK , when there health started to fail , they went back , got a council flat and both dies a couple of years later .

My point being , these two people spent 40 plus years travelling and living in a caravan , and were not travellers , , Fury has lived in a house , yet does consider himself a traveller ,

Hence my question what constitutes a traveller how can you call yourself a traveller , when you live in a house , If its a culture , way of life thing , what way of life is different between , a traveller and a non traveller , living in a house next door to each other ,, confusing is'nt it

I think the word traveller is the issue ,, For me you can;t be a traveller if you don't travell ,, But you can call yourself a gypsy if you think your one , hope that clears it up

Actually , in all seriousness ,,, there is a name for people like my parents here in Aust , its actually the GREY NOMADS seriously there are litery thousands of elderly people who sell up ,or rent out there houses , buy a van and start travelling all over the country , In the winter they head up north for the warmer weather

Over here theres no stigma attached , its called living the dream , and most want to do it ,,, my wife wants to do iit , but its not for me , we have an onsite caravan at a fishing town , i spend 8-10 weeks of the year at , but stuffed if i would tow one around , , 6-7 days at a time is enough for me in a caravan

Most travelers live on permanent sites or in house. The Irish over here travel. The real old school dids travel but they’re a different breed.
And some outhouses next to the trailers on permanent sites are bigger than my house!

Theres no question about it i'm English , i was born there and grew up there ,, but i have took out Aussie citezenship , i felt it was the least i could do , this country has been good to me , and i love it here ,, whenever i've been back i always feel nostalgic and love England , but i know i could never live there full time again ,

We were toying with the idea , of joining some thing where people actually swap houses for a period , not sure what its called , but apparantly people swap houses and borrow each others cars ect for a set period , that appealed to me but covid has put an end to them thoughts ,, I would love it i'm an avid motorbike rider , and would love to just hit the motorways there travel the UK and go over to europe on my bike .
