Parker team's escrow move looks smarter by the second. What odds the rest of the card don't get paid?

No idea, I haven’t bothered watching any of it tbh. Will listen to the main event on 5 Live.

It did. Free between 7 and 8.

YouTube's a great platform, but as others have said, these mid-level fights should be funded via advertisers and free to view. I reckon they'd have done around 50k.

Tickets were full priced at 3PM...arena is half empty, stream increased in price...what was the logic here? A huge, huge loss! Well done Parker's team for getting their money but what the fornicate was the "promoter" playing at? Stupid!

Meh, then loads of complaining about having to sit through the adverts.
Seems to me like people want free everything for everyone.

And it's a shame, because they've made YouTube look like a bad vehicle, when it's ideal for non-premier boxing.

YouTube is a great platform but even they recognised earlier this week that their audience don't want to pay for content.

I quite like the radio for fights. Apart from the May-Mac fight, listening to that they made it out to be a 50/50 life and death!

Advertisers, not adverts. Brand names all over the shop; company shoutouts during intros...

How do you find out what channel this fight is on for other countries??

Radio 5 is superb for boxing - if I could get the commentary to be in unison with the TV without a delay, would do this all night long

People are happy to pay a reasonable price. The price here was unreasonable, the show was under promoted and they did a horror job.

In regards to adverts people complain about Sky Box Office having them, generally they are acceptable if you haven't paid especially for the show.

Personally I'm happy to fork out for fights I want to watch (I subscribe to boxingraise, pay for A sign, paid for the last Pinoy Pride and the recent card in Kazakhstan) but I won't pay over the odds for them. And £10 for this feels way over the odds when compared to the others it was a terrible strategy for the fight.

Genuinely they should have given it away, whacked the ticket price down and used it to build Hughies profile. Instead it's gone down like a wet fart in church.

And that is why we hope Parker is going to win. To get these clowns out of the mix.
Parker's promoters have put on some proper events and work well with other promoters, unlike this mob.
Take Pac Horn for example- Duco Aram, and Brisbane City event. Sell out, world wide audience.

Up to 8.3k.

They might have lost over a million quid on this.

It's £15 now, isn't it?

I would have paid a tenner, but as soon as realised it was £15 not a chance - I can afford it, just a principle thing

Was it not £10 to begin with then jumped to £15? Even stupider!

Also surely Fite TV would have been a far, far better outlet than YouTube?

I gave that to Murray by a couple but so many rounds were close I wouldn't have minded if it had gone the other way. Tbh it might have done Joe a favour if he'd lost it. Might have made him realise he is on the way down.

Likewise. For me its just not a PPV fight and it will likely be an ugly spectacle aswell.
