Can we have a 'The fight ain't ever happening' option?
These two and their farcical handlers have circled each other for nigh on 6 years; 3 of those years were prime years as reigning HW champions and rather than fight each other, there was always one more fight each had to have before potentially facing each other.
Even in the unlikely event they ever do lock horns, the fight is effectively done, because Wilder is on the downside of his career.
He rarely fights and he didn't look very impressive last night and listening to him, he sounds like he is looking for an exit from the sport.

They should just fight each other next. Yeah, Wilder looked gun shy and took some heavy shots, but it's still an intriguing fight. I for one, would love to see. AJ mops the floor with him, obviously, but Wilder will always have that one punch threat.

Just changed mine, a year ago I would have said Wilder and Fury would have easily beaten AJ, after recent events I think he wipes the floor with the pair of them.

It is bizarre how much shit and psychoanalysis Joshua was receiving and how it spelt the end of his career....yet when you compare it to the mental state of the 2 fighters being put forth as being able to wipe the floor with him, he appears to be the far more focused fighter of the 3.
Aside from a few flurries after Parker instigated an attack, Wilder surrendered very meekly.

shows how fickle 'fans' are doesn't it. He was very graceful re Wallin and Wilder too after. Much more dignified than Fury and his drivel.

Hearn explains the numbers for Joshua-Wilder fight no longer work
He expanded, “You never know what’s going to happen in the future, but we had both signed contracts to announce the fight that night, obviously subject to everybody winning.
“So when Wilder lost, we had to go in the changing rooms to Josh and he was like, ‘He just lost?’ So don’t worry about that, you do your thing, and obviously he did his thing outstandingly and the fight’s dead, for now. Who knows what’s going to happen in the future?”
Eddie explained exactly why the match is now redundant, “The people that wanted to put the fight on no longer see that as the fight that it was. The negotiations that have taken place up to that point to agree the deal, the numbers don’t work now because Wilder’s a busted flush, at the moment.”
He then shared his honest opinion on how he perceives that fight now, “I know that Deontay Wilder always has ‘the punch’ etcetera, etcetera, but it’s a mismatch at the moment, in my opinion.”
“If you listen to every interview I’ve ever given, outside of his power, I don’t rate him. And when you look at his resume, I don’t know how many times I’ve got to say that he hasn’t beaten anyone.
“He’s beaten Luis Ortiz, who is a very, very old, arguably elite top 10 when they fought, but that is it, and I’m not trying to be critical, but I’ve never really got it.
“So exciting, so entertaining, great interviews, ‘Bomb Squad!’… love it, but he ain’t in AJ’s league.”
He concluded, “Our aim is to fight the winner of Fury-Usyk. That’s all we want to do. Obviously, there’s the Hrgovic fight out there for the [IBF] world title.”

Not in the last 7 or so years after AJ drove him loopy. Just repetitive trolling posts on the same repetitive subject.

Why don't you say these things to his face Dev when next to him instead of cowering and scurrying around like a little weasle?
