Oh yeah...but not over the distance... you never said unbeaten.Batley18 wrote:Vitali lost twice before even winning the title I thinkSNG wrote:Vitali Klitschko?

Haye would have had far more chance before this fight happened.stujones wrote:Haye's got to be bringing with confidence about Joshua.

He's not as bad as you suggest too. Whyte is above British level.gazza8 wrote:Nonsense, Both Haye, Fury, and Joshua all beat Wilder. . .no head movement fron AJ. . . . plodding after taking 1 shot from a British level fighter. . . good finish but i dont see the heights people predictBatley18 wrote:Nonsense, did he go down? Joshua isnt going places though. . . Haye or Fury beat him easiy
believe the sky and matchroom hype people but hes not as good as they suggest
I think the needle between him and Whyte has brought something out in him, possible his real self. I think he could have finished it in 1 if he wanted to there, but he was a bit arrogant and wanted to keep it going.Tuan_Jim wrote:Joshua did well to survive that scare in the 2nd, and that moment of exhaustion in the 3rd. Whyte was too uncoordinated, unbalanced, flailing around, he was going to collide with something sooner or later. The attempt to save himself with a DQ in the 1st was pathetic and revolting. Go back to Brixton with your postcode gang.
Does anyone see Joshua's true personality seeping through? There's the manufactured PR mask, and the yobbish street lad that keeps popping up behind it. And that imperial summoning of the promoter when he wearied of the interview was pure prima donna.
Good fight. Nice KO. Two awful young men.
I forgot he was WBO world champion, I was thinking of Corrie Sanders after the losses.crusader wrote:CorrectSNG wrote:Vitali Klitschko?
Was 24-0 (24) gong into his win over Hide.
In theory.digzee wrote:He's not as bad as you suggest too. Whyte is above British level.
There's been hints of it throughout his career, in my opinion.Batley18 wrote:I think the needle between him and Whyte has brought something out in him, possible his real self. Agree. The double analyst thing didnt work, but it did show Watt up as drivelling some load of pish versus some well thought through analysis from Malignaggi.Batley18 wrote:I hope Paulie retires soon and works for Sky full time. Love the guy.

But no one took the WBO title seriously in that era.SNG wrote:I forgot he was WBO world champion, I was thinking of Corrie Sanders after the losses.crusader wrote:CorrectSNG wrote:Vitali Klitschko?

He certainly has but no shots of anything from the level off the 3 mentioned above. . . . argument over. . . get off your AJ hype train an face the facts pleaseBatley18 wrote:Don't get me wrong, I don't like Wilder, but he has taken some shots and looked shaky but is a World Champ. Good question. Do we think Chisora is better than Whyte now?Horse wrote:Do people still think Chisora is a waste of time for Joshua?
Irrelevant! I was right!Tuan_Jim wrote:

Surprised anyone takes it seriously today to be honest. Amazing that a few good fighters holding it in the contemporary era has led to the old fights being somehow 'legitimised'. I guess Herbie Hide vs clubfighter Damon Reed and journeyman Willi Fischer now enters the history of the world heavyweight title?
