Mate, I cant bet outside of New Zealand, not sure hie, but I can't join any betting agencies that I've tried so far, that are outside of my country. Something to do with my NZ ISP- but I'm only guessing.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Feb 2022, 08:22Bet365 Kiwi, it’s still at 9/2KiwiRider wrote: ↑16 Feb 2022, 05:20Oh, nice odds.MightyWarrior wrote: ↑16 Feb 2022, 04:11 Khan has obviously long been fragile around the chin, but with Kell I think that has just happened, judging by the Crawford fight. I think the fast starting Bolton man finds the decisive punch first, I’ve gone for him by knockout 9/2.![]()
I woulda taken that too.
I can only place bets with the TAB agency. And I do, but the only odds they are offering are:
Kell Brook
1.57
Draw
15.00
Amir Khan
2.30

Re: Amir Khan vs. Kell Brook | Sky Sports PPV - 19 February 2022
Thought brook looked very sharp and up for it on behind the gloves
khan looking very fast as usual
I see it going khans way for the early stages but reckon he'll get busted at some stage, brook stays on point mentally and doesnt try and rush khan with a temper on him i think he will get the job done
Would not be shocked to see khan get a decision but i can see ol brook getting a stoppage,

How on Earth can this not be a great fight? However long it lasts it will be exciting. Brook genuinely sees this as his defining fight and will do anything to win. Khan is never in a dull encounter and has balls like space hoppers.
I think Brook will weigh 151 to 153lbs and pay 200-400k just to give him an extra edge. Doing 149 could be a mistake. I don't believe he is bothered at all about the money (and even if he is, should he win he'll get a rematch anyway).

I'm looking forward to the fight. Stuck the bulk of my money on brook in rounds 1-6 but also a flutter on khan in 5 or khan by stoppage. Hopefully the ring walk isn't too late. Being two hours ahead and getting older means I like my early nights

i suppose I can see that argument, but for me this is just another classic case of 'boxing is a retarded business' putting two guys in the ring 5 years after their peak.
one of them is going to collapse alarmingly at a relatively early point, I imagine, and I can only envision them both looking awful until that point arrives. if both of them are getting wobbled every other round by jabs and showing their timing is 30% down on their peak, that's excitement I don't feel like watching. I mean, if i watch, it will be through my hands, metaphorically, just hoping that the inevitable collapse isn't too early, or too starkly embarrassing/depressing.

Is Kell as shot as people are saying? Or did he just get done by one of the best fighters of the last 10 years? He didn't look bad until that moment.
Yes, he sort of unravelled fast but is it conclusive that he's finished?

I wondered this. It was such an about-turn to go and fight Crawford at 147 like that, and he was well beaten, but around the DeLuca fight I thought the general feeling was that although he’d taken a lot out of himself in the Spence/Brook fights, he could still be a serious player at 154.

Adam Smith with a straight face just said “Dom says Kell is in the best shape he’s been in and has had the best camp since Shawn Porter”

All those undercard fighters just spoke extremely well. Not a dickhead in sight.
Jonas is going to be dwarfed on Saturday. Even though Chris' only has 10 days notice she's a big risk.

I'm looking forward to seeing the Azim brothers.

Brook looks huge compared to Khan. If he does a Jacobs and pays the fine for missing weight I think he'll win easily. If he makes the weight and is drained then that might be Khan's best chance.chris123 wrote: ↑17 Feb 2022, 08:02I wondered this. Frazier Clarke said he came to Sky because of the platform.
Eddie’s screwed.
People are not signing with the ‘promoter’ they’re signing with who ever is with the better platform.
Matchroom we’re signing everyone when they were with Sky..
Now Boxxer are getting the majority, why? Cus they’re with Sky.
