Really can't get my head around this fight for some reason. I'm leaning towards Paulie on points but the price makes me feel as though I'm seeing it completely wrong.DSW wrote:I can't see past Malignaggi on Saturday. If he brings all his skills to the table i think he comfortably beats Eggington. I think Sam will keep coming forward but Paulie will pick him off with jabs and use his superior footwork to dominate.
I'm backing Malignaggi on points (2/1 with Bet365) and just hope the cards are fair.
Why back the points when you can get 15/8 on him to win by any method with Paddy Power. Given the fractional difference I think better to cover more bases.DSW wrote:I can't see past Malignaggi on Saturday. If he brings all his skills to the table i think he comfortably beats Eggington. I don't understand the odds for this at all. Malignaggi has fought at a much higher level and Eggington got out-boxed by Bradley Skeete a few fights ago..ElJefe wrote:Really can't get my head around this fight for some reason. That's pretty much my thinking as well. Paulie is the more skilled boxer and the only guys to stop him are levels above Eggington, and even then it took Garcia 9 rounds and took Khan and Hatton 11.Scoops wrote:I don't understand the odds for this at all. I know Eggington knocked out Gavin last time out but he doesn't have great punching power in general and surely he can't out-box Paulie if it goes the distance?
Now 1/2 but the bout NOT to go the Distance was 8/13 a bit of an odd one.littlepug wrote:i got 10-11 with betfair yesterdayThe Insider wrote:Could only find 8/11 and looked yesterday.Boxing Prospect wrote:Yamanaka inside the distance, 10/11 with Paddy Power. I'm always loathe to back an underdog only via a prop as I have mentioned before, but I have to feel like I got a good price on his moneyline at +205, which is actually better than your points prop.DSW wrote:I can't see past Malignaggi on Saturday. This is really old news now. Haye posted a video of himself on the way to the open workouts.JimGunn wrote:According to rumor Haye has injured his Achilles tendon and the bout with Bellew is in jeopardy. He's missing open workout and flew to Germany to see a specialist. There will be a *lot* of pressure for him not to pull out of this bout from the ego side with all the trash talk and the promotion and money side. This could actually be good new for us Bellew backers hoping for an upset if this is true and the fight goes on.

Decent Amateur from Sunderland. Bit late to be turning pro at 28 but with odds of 12/1 it's got to be worth a small play as it's also over 4 rounds.JimGunn wrote:I don't know anything about Jake Bonallie, other than BoxRec says he's a debuting fighter fighting a 2-0 newbie. But I'm in for a small stab at big odds, why not?
Jake Bonallie (+1250) vs Craig Glover ~$30.53 for ~$381.56
Cheers for that BP, backed the ko win and also a double with haye rounds 1-6Boxing Prospect wrote:Yamanaka inside the distance, 10/11 with Paddy Power. Fill your boots, fill your grans boots and your neighbours boots

It is a sensible thing to do but I can't bring myself to do it...at the minuteTopGun wrote:I'm thinking of hedging my bets and putting a couple of quid on Bellew for mid to second half of the fight....not because I think he will win before you kick off. purely from a financial position and being wise, makes sense as I will be lumping a lot on a Haye KO
Thoughts on a Selby decision victory at 6/5? I've not seen much of Gago but he's not been stopped before and Selby isn't a huge puncher.freddydoesdallas wrote:It is a sensible thing to do but I can't bring myself to do it...at the minuteTopGun wrote:I'm thinking of hedging my bets and putting a couple of quid on Bellew for mid to second half of the fight....not because I think he will win before you kick off. purely from a financial position and being wise, makes sense as I will be lumping a lot on a Haye KO
The only thing in the back of my mind stopping me from smashing into this is the thought of Selby being frustrated at the fiasco of the Frampton undercard and getting let down an wanting to take it out on someone.ozzy1875 wrote:Thoughts on a Selby decision victory at 6/5? I've got him via KO. I think the gulf in class is big enough for a compassionate stoppage here.DSW wrote:The only thing in the back of my mind stopping me from smashing into this is the thought of Selby being frustrated at the fiasco of the Frampton undercard and getting let down an wanting to take it out on someone.ozzy1875 wrote:Thoughts on a Selby decision victory at 6/5?
