I know its a terrible price but Lemieux 1/3. Sometimes theres no value in the price for a favorite. But its not a sure bet like King over Katsidis

In US so sky bet not an option but I don't think it goes the distance.Jmashyaka wrote:Sky bet has lemieux 8-12 or points at 5/6world ranked wrote:I know its a terrible price but Lemieux 1/3. Sometimes theres no value in the price for a favorite. But its not a sure bet like King over Katsidis
You were spot on, lemieux came out to take his head off.world ranked wrote:In US so sky bet not an option but I don't think it goes the distance.Jmashyaka wrote:Sky bet has lemieux 8-12 or points at 5/6world ranked wrote:I know its a terrible price but Lemieux 1/3. In fairness both did. When both guys are come forward styles under is usually the play.Jmashyaka wrote:You were spot on, lemieux came out to take his head off.world ranked wrote:In US so sky bet not an option but I don't think it goes the distance.Jmashyaka wrote: Sky bet has lemieux 8-12 or points at 5/6
Fair points, but Mansour quitting in that bout wasn't because he was losing on the cards or getting beat up badly. He had knocked Breazeale down in the third and seemed to be winning to me until he started choking on his blood from a lacerated tongue. I haven't re-watched it recently, but I recall that him quitting at the time seemed like a sudden and strange turn of events in a fight he was winning to that point. Just saying to me that seemed like an atypical retirement from an injury, not someone who quit because he was battered and mentally beaten.TheLeprechaun wrote:Kauffman and Mansour sparred a lot so they are no strangers to each other. It will be a fight where they both come forward. Considering Mansour quit against Breazeale I'm not sure I'd be backing him against Kauffman, who will be just as relentless and won't take a step backwards all night. The way Mansour swings and misses a lot, that takes a lot out of you. Kauffman isn't great but he's good at covering up and has a decent punch. If he's still coming at Mansour after 5, this is not going to end well for Mansour.
My bet would be Kauffman by KO
I've went with Wach on a little acca.BillyTKid wrote:What are people's thoughts on Teper v Wach. Teper no longer on the juice. I think 6/4 on Wach looks good value, my main worry is the German judges.
Can I ask why you are betting on GGG at all? You're $225 deep on DJ and your GGG bets don't anywhere near cover that.JimGunn wrote:I bought out of the under in the GGG/Jacobs bout, as I think GGG will take Jacobs seriously and it will last a while like the Lemieux bout. Looked at this last night when Richards was 5/2 done my bollox at Cheltenham today come home to back Richards at 5/2 and hes now 8/11 hope you got onJmashyaka wrote:Domestic dust up between Alan Higgins vs Craig Richards. Higgins is a 1/5 which seems abit steep since both men have fought guys with losing records. I guess Higgins has fought opposition with less of a losing record, but studying the little footage I could find on these two fighters, Richards seems to be the better boxer, he commits to a jab and utilises better footwork stepping back and countering etc.
However as there is no recent footage of Higgins I'll have to assume his favourite for reason, the bookies think he will knock Richards out, I think Thisbe might go to points as neither man has real pop.
5/4 for the fight to go the distance, if you wanna be risky then Richards on points is 11/2 and 9/4.
I have $175 specifically on Jacobs, not $225. If GGG stops him late rather than early I could actually still make money or lose only a small amount depending on what round it ends after the middle of the 8th. Remember my bets always state the profit not the return. Of course if GGG stops him early I will lose it all. Essentially I'm betting on the underdog at huge odds and also partially insuring myself against what I consider to be the most likely way the dog loses to limit my potential losses. Not unlike when I bet Bellew's moneyline as big dog recently where almost no one gave him a chance and in that case I hedged with what I considered his most likely way to lose to Haye in rounds 1, 2 & 3 which had nice + numbers attached to them. The Insider wrote:Can I ask why you are betting on GGG at all? I'm not a hardcore betting man, and rarely win, but I've missed out on some crackers due to having a deposit limit on my PP account.
