You were unlucky that fight was close and I think Higgins deserved it, all of his shots were more spiteful and was working well when he got Richards on the ropes.

I had a dabble on Higgins in play. Also on the draw at 16/1

Close but no cigar

Jmashyaka wrote:Domestic dust up between Alan Higgins vs Craig Richards. Higgins is a 1/5 which seems abit steep since both men have fought guys with losing records. I guess Higgins has fought opposition with less of a losing record, but studying the little footage I could find on these two fighters, Richards seems to be the better boxer, he commits to a jab and utilises better footwork stepping back and countering etc.

However as there is no recent footage of Higgins I'll have to assume his favourite for reason, the bookies think he will knock Richards out, I think Thisbe might go to points as neither man has real pop.

5/4 for the fight to go the distance, if you wanna be risky then Richards on points is 11/2 and 9/4.
Great shout

I didn't originally bet on the Richards vs Higgins fight. I looked at the odds about 20 minutes before the fight. The odds changed drastically. Richards was like 7/2 a few days ago when I last looked at the odds and all of a sudden he was 5/6.

So I thought something was up and placed a double on Richards @ 5/6 and Andy Lee KO @8/13. £50 double almost pays £150.

I've also gone for Wach to beat Teper @ 7/4 and Mansour to beat Kauffman @ eves.

Wichita State and R.I. look worth a play in the NCAA. So I'll make a play on each and on Cintron, who is at -170. Grayton just looks terrible. Cintron would have to be completely shot to shyt to lose to this guy.
Well, I stand corrected...sort of. Grayton really is bad. He should have lost a point for the constant hits to the back of the head. I'm happy with the draw...because it bails me out! Grayton looked to be coming on, although I think the rabbit punching was aiding his cause there. I thought a draw was fair. Cintron doesn't have much left, less than I thought. He REALLY needs to get matched carefully then cash out.

I really thought Grayton was going to win the technical decision and my bet at +326 considering he knocked down Cintron in the fifth for a 10-8 round before the inadvertent head butt that forced it to go to the cards and a lame technical decision that resulted in a majority draw.I should get my money back on that one at least- that's usually the case with most books when boxing ML bets go to a draw and push. At least Mansour just won my biggest bet of the evening at -115, earning a majority decision over Kauffman in Pennsylvania which is Kauffman's back yard.

I thought Cintron won the 1st and 4th, Grayton the 2nd and 5th. The 3rd, I think it was, was close if I remember. I thought the draw was fair honestly, garbage fight. I'm looking forward to Grayton getting brutally KO'd soon.

Good job with Mansour, I favored him, but didn't pull the trigger. Was surprised they gave him an honest decision.

Ceylan vs Lowe, it's a real 50-50 not sure who will win I do not see the ko so the fight to go the distance makes the most sense.

Lowe is very live but I think it will go to the scorecards so you will have to think Ceylan is likely to get the home decision.

He's not live for me. Ceylan should be around 1/5

FFs this draw sh*t is annoying, second fight for me where a headbutt ruins my chances.
First Grayton now Lowe.

Won 2 out of 3 of my boxing bets. Shame about Andy Lee but still a decent overall profit!

What a night of boxing! Won almost a thousand bucks alone on the Thai challenger known professionally as Rungvisai upsetting undefeated four weight division champion and pound-for-pound number one boxer Roman "Chocolatito" Gonzalez. In the main event I thought for sure Daniel Jacobs was going to get the decision in the GGG bout. I thought he outboxed Golovkin soundly, despite the early knockdown that didn't seem to really hurt him, and won at least seven rounds if not eight. Judges cost me another $1800 or so with the Jacobs ML and Jacobs by 12 round decision bets I had at sick odds. It was a close and competitive fight, but I kind of agree with Jacobs in the post-fight interview that GGG got the benefit of the doubt to protect the GGG/Canelo payday. Still, another big weekend as the year of the underdog rolls on!

Backed Wangek at 10s, thought it was very close but had Chocolito by 1 so although I feel sorry for him, the £200 profit only made me feel so for a short while tbh.

I didn't know much about Wangek, just aside his record. The fight played out as I would have imagined, aside a stoppage. Both guys took a lot of punishment and Wangek's size kept him in the fight. He's way better than I thought he would have been, record based. With that said, I had a hard time giving him the nod. I thought Roman won the fight, it was close, but I think aside the first couple of rounds, Roman put in the better work overall.

Main event was close as well. I had it 14-113 G3 and could see the score ranging from 114-113 Jacobs to 115-112 G3. Anybody who thinks there was a clear winner on either side, I can't agree with that. Pretty much every forum poll I checked and out of 4 major boxing websites had this one right down the middle.

I see a few people won on Wangek, congrats to them. Glad somebody won.... :TU:
