Makes you wonder why ? Would be a massive fight right now and both could lose in the meantime .
Might be too late for one or both of them another year down the line

Well, he’d know Fury couldn’t hurt him so I suspect he’d be a lot more aggressive. Fury isn’t that amazing, Joshua could make an argument of it simply by attempting to fight as he did tonight.

Ideally he’d look to put it on Fury and knock him out though.

Isn’t ever happening though. Whatever happens after Wilder, Fury will be back to fighting shite or retired.

I don't see Fury fighting in 2021, I think he has two more fights maybe Wilder in Feb and one more

If Ruiz fights again, I really hope it's at 250. Any guesses at his prime weight? I'll say 235.

Even if he's 250 or less his next fight, he'd likely balloon back up the fight after next. He won't change.

It was obvious he was kicking himself afterwards. He knew at the time, and said after the fight, he was too heavy and slow to get on top of Joshua.

He was fat, and I thought that fight was pretty pedestrian.

Joshua done a superb tactical job last night and should be congratulated. Up until last night I didn't fully accept he was chinny. But sadly for him - he is, and knows it.
It would be terrifying to see what Wilder would do to him and Fury would simply cuff him around for a very comfortable points win.

AJ is now the second coming of Wladimir Klitschko (post-Sanders), for better or for worse.

Ruiz is now out of the way, I dont want a rematch. I want AJ/Fury/Wilder.

I'm struggling to congratulate Joshua too much after that performance

On the one hand, it was admirable he got straight back in there & stuck to a game plan to beat Ruiz jnr, but on the other there were quite a few rounds that his holding should have had points deducted and he was verging on running a few times. Quite different to hit and move tactics.

I'm pleased for Joshua but Eddie Hearn calling it a masterclass shouldn't fool anyone.

A quick return to defend in the UK would be a good move next while Wilder & Fury have their 2nd fight. Highly unlikely anything "quick" happens because everything has to be an "event" now, but here's hoping.

By the way, if anyone thinks Joshua defending in the UK against someone other than Wilder or Fury won't sell, think again. Tens of thousands of tickets will sell for AJ against whoever.

I'd have no problem watching AJ defend against Pulev, who is a valid contender.
