I'm glad he didn't! I won a 15-1 accumulator (parlay) of: Taylor points, Arnfield points and Linares points..... after reading some tips on this thread... Thanks again folks that's £400 profit in 2 weeks from small stakes, and I'm totally broke so it's a real boost!!

Because I'm a degen who likes to be entertained on a Tuesday evening and because having two brothers who are successful boxers doesn't automatically mean you should be such a huge favorite:

Reynaldo Blanco (+720) vs Leduan Barthelemy ~$25.00 for ~$180.00
Reynaldo Blanco (+1200) vs Leduan Barthelemy $25.00 for $300.00

Huck stoppage is 6/1 vs Mairis Breidis anybody like that price? I fancy Breidis stoppage but it's short odds at 13/10 so the value is definitely with the veteran Huck

fancy Bredis to score a late stoppage in this one, so will probably chuck a few quid at rounds 9, 10, 11 and 12

just had another look at Bredis on youtube, boxes very similar to huck with both a bit wide open, more I think about it I can see this going 12 with bredis getting the nod

Briedis has scary power, but can be wild and Huck has great experience at a high level. I think the value is on Huck, so my money is on Huck at +166 and +203 and some on Huck by decision at +300, hedged with Briedis winning in round 4-6 at +500.

I'd be careful with that bet. He's a German fighting in Germany. Plus he's absolutely adored in Germany. Briedis would need to win quite wide to get the decision over there.

I've got a small bet on Huck @ 15/8 for the win. Just to make the night more fun.

yeah you've got a point, think im looking too hard for an angle that isn't there so may just stick a little bit on a (controversial) draw.

I had a lot of bets this past weekend so I figured I'd sum them up like I have the past few weekends to be accountable to myself if nothing else. I was actually mistaken about my live bet on Taylor/Joubert and the under 5½ play that I thought won which was actually graded as a doesn't start round 6 prop which lost. And I had way too many props instead of betting more on the Linares moneyline despite the fact that I was pretty confident in Linares winning, so that was an error too. But nonetheless I managed a small profit after a couple of winning live plays, so can't complain after all. Still pretty confident in my mostly underdogs strategy going forward.

Jason Quigley wins inside the distance (-167) vs Glen Tapia ~$87.19 for ~$52.21= -~$87.19
Jason Quigley wins in round 4-6 (+274) ~$15.57 for ~$42.66= -~$15.57
Live In-Play Jason Quigley Points Victory Or Technical Decision (-263) vs Glen Tapia ~$217.98 for ~$82.88= ~$82.88

Gogi Knezevic (+1600) vs Conrad Cummings ~$20.00 for ~$320.00= -$20.00

Live In-Play: Josh Taylor/Warren Joubert does not start round 6 (-112) ~$100.00 for ~$89.29 = -~$100.00

Jesus Ruiz (+1100) vs Randy Caballero $30.00 for $330.00= -$30.00
Jesus Ruiz Points Victory Or Technical Decision (+3300) ~$26.99 for ~$890.67= -~$26.99
Jesus Ruiz/Randy Caballero fight to go distance (+163) ~$41.52 for ~$67.68= ~$67.68

Jorge Linares (-175) vs Anthony Crolla ~$181.65 for ~$103.80= ~$103.80
Jorge Linares (-182) vs Anthony Crolla ~$188.91 for ~$103.80= ~$103.80
Jorge Linares wins by KO/TKO/DQ (+235) $40.00 for $94.00= -$40.00
Jorge Linares wins by KO/TKO/DQ (+265) ~$25.95 for ~$68.77= -~$25.95
Jorge Linares wins in round 10 (+2500) ~$5.19 for ~$129.75= -~$5.19
Jorge Linares wins in round 10-12 (+1000) ~$10.38 for ~$103.80= -~$10.38

Jorge Linares/Anthony Crolla Under 9½ (+200) $50.00 for $100.00= -$50.00
Jorge Linares/Anthony Crolla Under 10½ (+160) $25.00 for $40.00= -$25.00

Jorge Linares wins by split decision (+850) $10.00 for $85.00= -$10.00
Anthony Crolla wins by split decision (+1000) $30.00 for $300.00= -$30.00
Anthony Crolla wins by any decision (+400) $25.00 for $100.00= -$25.00
Jorge Linares/Anthony Crolla Draw (+2000) ~$10.38 for ~$207.60= -~$10.38

Live In-Play Jason Welborn (+123) vs Marcus Morrison ~$100.00 for ~$123.00= ~$123.00

Jack Arnfield (-127) vs Brian Rose ~$131.83 for ~$103.80= $103.80

Francisco Contreras (+1500) vs Jhonny Gonzalez $20.00 for $300.00= -$20.00

Total Profit= $53.31

Just noticed this fight on bet365 between Mulovhedvezi vs Socci for IBO welterweight belt.
I managed to watch some of Socci fights he looks kinda slick, be it has come against really poor opposition. I only saw a minute of Mulohedvezi ko win over Fuenka and he looked really basic tryna finish fuenka off.

It's probably a long shot but the odds will probably shorten.

So £10 on Socci returns 90.

Short odds I know but fill your boots on Nathan Gorman at 3/10. He's getting better and better and I cannot see him losing to Akinlade.

2/1 Nicola Adams on points in her first fight next Saturday 4x2 seems a big price to me she was not a big puncher in the vest so seems worth a risk to me even though they would clearly want a ko and must have selected what they think will provide it, plus obviously be a huge gulf in class in her first couple of fights at least.

Still I'm in at 2s.

With Paddy Power by the way.

Not boxing but a football bet tonight.

Derry are home to bray tonight and derry are clearly the form team having won their last 5 against good league opposition. Bray are 2 out of 5 against middling opposition.

Big difference is that the derry captain died last week and that will clearly create an emotional atmosphere tonight but you would expect that to drive them on.

I was expecting 1/3 for them to win but paddy has them at evens and 11/4 -1. I'm on it

I know. Sickened. Pulled it back to 2-2 only to lose with the last kick.

I got on the draw when 2-1 @10/3 to lay a bit off and luckily set a cash out target so managed to recoup half my stake

Just won £150 from £2.50 on a 5 fold so I recouped on my loss many times over lol.

Few good fights coming up in the next few days, one on Saturday afternoon April 1st with the vacant WBC Cruiserweight belt on the line between experienced champion Marco Huck of Germany and undefeated contender Mairis Briedis from Latvia. Classic matchup of skilled and tough long time champion vs the new breed. Briedis is very dangerous with massive power but Huck has only lost to the very best three times in over forty fights and is not to be underestimated himself. I'm leaning towards the underdog for the value.

Featured fight between two undefeated welterweights Antonio Orozco and Keandre Gibson on ESPN2 Saturday evening. I don't think either one should be such a huge favorite like -1200 over the other, so I took a stab on the dog at +600.

Tuesday on FS1, veteran Edner Cherry takes on experienced opponent Omar Douglas at super featherweight in a close matched bout that opened as a near pick 'em. I like Cherry at + money as he's fought better competition and is more active throwing punches.

_

Marco Huck (+203) vs Mairis Briedis ~$110.00 for ~$223.30

Marco Huck (+166) vs Mairis Briedis ~$130.00 for ~$215.80

Mairis Briedis wins in round 4-6 (+500) ~$20.00 for ~$100.00

Marco Huck wins in round 7-12 (+750) ~$10.00 for ~$75.00

Marco Huck Points Victory Or Technical Decision (+300) ~$27.00 for ~$81.00

_

Keandre Gibson (+600) vs Antonio Orozco $35.00 for $210.00

_

Edner Cherry (+123) vs Omar Douglas ~$100.00 for ~$123.00

Edner Cherry (+100) vs Omar Douglas $200.00 for $200.00
