This sort of corruption is just normal now. Something like 95% of Trump's pardons have gone against DOJ guidelines. It's all about whether you have a personal connection to Trump or another White House insider, or have personally enriched him somehow.

I don't think Democrats are obsessed with illegal aliens. They just don't think people should be treated so inhumanely. It's virtually impossible for the great majority to come legally. We are pick and choose what laws get enforced. I'm fine if it's not enforced at all. however, the majority of people are concerned, and it costs Democrats votes.

Of course, no one ever talks about what can be done so that so many won't want to leave their native country in the first place. Never.

Agree with you about the Trans thing. I don't understand why someone would do it, but as long as long as they aren't hurting anyone else, I really don't care. There are 1000 things that are more important.

In regards to the "illegal" alien part, I have been one in the past & I might have to leave the US next year. I've applied for citizenship but nothing is happening. I don't know if they are just being really slow or maybe they've looked at my old social media posts (I'm fucked ) but once the Green Card runs out in 2027 I will have to bugger off - or I could stay & just hope they don't catch me.

With others, who may not speak English as a first language or may have jobs & families, the hoops you have to jump through can be confusing & expensive. You have multiple layers to deal with & contrasting agencies. I also once had a doctor who was assigned to do the medical on me say I had hepatitis & he could run more tests (more $$$) to fix it. Luckily I had a doctor through the casino I worked at who did further tests to prove it was bollocks.

So I can see why some people just abandon the process & get on with real life rather than dealing with all of that.

And in regards for the trans thing, I work with 3 or 4 trans people & they are all the loveliest sweetest people.

One was born female & is now engaged to a gorgeous girl. Another born female left to become a firefighter & is a tattooed body builder who is also training to fly planes. Also has a hot girlfriend.

Another born male who is in a relationship with a couple. They don't look like a girl or boy. But they love baseball.

And the last one was born male & is now a gorgeous Latina. Who likes Margaritas & House music. We have a lot in common.

Anyway, half of the people I work with are Gen Z & very into they/them etc. Even the hetro ones don't say boyfriend or girlfriend just Partner & they/them. They DO NOT feel represented by the Democrats. Many of them didn't vote last time.

One problem young people have is that don't see a candidate that just wows them so they don't think it makes a difference, when it obviously does.
They might agree with one candidate say 10% of the time and the other say 90% of the time. They can't get past the 10% of the time that they don't agree with someone and don't vote.

I notice something every four years with the Presidential Caucuses and Primaries. Several candidates from a party will run. A young person likes one of the Candidates. That person doesn't win the nomination. So they don't vote at all in the general election.

They are often represented by Democrats, but they don't get it.

This was definitely the case with Bernie Sanders, I don't know if it's always the case though. There were no primaries at all in 2024 Kamala was just handed the nomination on a Silver Platter, that honestly probably rubbed a lot of people the wrong way there because if there had been a primary she wouldn't have gotten the nomination.

I felt like the Democrat party deserved to lose for betraying their constituents when they chose Hillary over Bernie Sanders.

Remember Donald Trump in Politics could've been a 1 time loser, and faded into nothing. The Democrats gave him the ability to win by selecting the wrong candidate.

Fuck the Republicans and the Democrats. You guys need a viable 3rd party totally different from those two.

They want someone who is EXACTLY aligned with their views without realising that the candidate HAS to run on a broader platform.
