i do favour fury over usyk, but beating wilder alone isnt enough to make him the man, head and shoulders above the rest (except for height!)

i dont read too much into usyk-chis, i only gave chisora the first 2 rounds, and then usyk handily beat a guy much better than chisora

fury scores nice wins over wilder, that's not the same as beating usyk or aj. lets see him get undisputed

to be the all out king, the man needs to beat the usyk - aj 2 winner and become undisputed. beating wilder twice is good for sure but it doesnt all of a sudden give him wins over everyone else

to really boost his legacy at this point, he should beat the usyk-aj 2 winner for undisputed, then add some depth to his record by beating some decent contenders, like whyte. right now chisora is a top 3 guy he's beaten, he has the really good wlad and wilder wins, but then it's really thin

fury beating wilder doesnt mean he's beaten everyone else too, or that he wouldnt further his resume and legacy by beating the likes of usyk to become undisputed, and then adding some more depth by beating say aj and whyte

right now he's the #1, but not the absolute king of the division, not THE MAN, etc

a win over the usyk -aj 2 winner, would make him undisputed, that would be big. they are both arguably as good or better than wilder too, and present very different challenges. it would be a nice accomplishment for tyson and its not something he can do merely over the internet. beating wilder isnt the same as becoming undisputed by beating aj or usyk

Jokes aside there is zero point looking at fury vs wilder when assessing fury vs usyk. Wilder and Usyk are both high leve, but other than that they are opisites....One tall and long, one not. One with blistering power, one without. One orthadox, One southpaw. One a masterfull boxer, one not.

The phrase styles makes fights is a great phrase and very true, its one thing drawing how someone would go vs dillian whyte based on how they did vs chisora... but to asses how someone would do vs usyk based on how they did vs wilder is nonsense.

wlad, whyte, parker, povetkin, pulev, martin, takam, ruiz, brezeale

breazeale is one of the 3 best opponents wilder has beaten but would barely make aj's top 10, and aj beat him after 2 years pro. wilder has beaten 2 top 10 opponents in his entire career, it's not impressive at all really, nor is beating bermane the blob some amazing win, as much as wilder and fury fans might like it to be

to be honest, i find it surprising that a fury fan would be so opposed to him fighting them, when fury can grab a huge accomplishment in beating them. makes it sound like you're nervous for him!
