Can we just clear something up? I’m a Fury fan, yes, but I’m far from obsessed. I would say you lot are, but in a different way. I just try to add balance! He can’t sell tickets, he’s crap, he’s not undefeated, he is a coward etc…. None of which is true. Nobody wants the Del fight, me included but I can see why he is taking it.
Genuine question. Why do you think so many people think you are obsessed with Fury?

I can see Fury carrying this fight and possibly making it more exciting than it needs to be.

Apologies for bringing Joshua into this but if it was him in this situation he'd be getting made out to be having another meltdown and everyone would be obsessing about his mental fragility

"Can't handle the pressure"
"The real him is showing"
"PR training wasted"
"He's so insecure"
"He has a fragile ego"

I think pretty much everyone knows Fury is scared of Usyk.
Usyk who went life and death with Chisora?

Life and death
Of course, it's because Fury went life and death with Otto Wallin, an inferior southpaw to Usyk.
Not to mention his life and death struggle with 'middleweight' Steve Cunningham.
These life and death moments are definitely playing on his psyche. Life and death fights do that.

Who is there to fight in Dec 3rd?
AJ didn't want it
Usyk wants it in March
Joyce, Parker and Wilder have just fought?
He is going to get criticized for anyone else.
What would be better? A Whyte or Wallin rematch? Zhang or Hrzvic?
The dance partners just aren't there.
There are some Eastern European up and comers who might be harder fights but are unheard of.
While no one is excited about a Chisora rematch, we are short of better options.

Why did it have to be December 3rd? Why book a venue without being likely to get a decent opponent for it?

I actually am hoping for the upset. It would be nice to see Chisora go out a winner and it would be really sweet to bring Fury down a peg or 2

Putting the bi-polar to one side, respect to Fury for being open about it, he’s clearly on edge at the moment and not his confident in control self, ……. so an upset is a possibility ….

Oh I would love to see the upset and at 11/1 odds i'd bet a hundred on it to make it interesting.
But I honestly give Chisora maybe a 5% chance of winning in a fluke. Too old. Too shopworn

Yeah, Chisora needs to execute a strategy from another world to win this ….

Wallin rematch far more acceptable than this, Joyce could've easily fought again for a title shot
