I'd tossed a few fivers away on bets this weekend, I wish one of them was on the draw, I always had a nagging feeling it could come to that. Poor judging always finds it's way. Also with this much boxing on in a single day there's bound to be one that finishes up even.

Glad I cashed out on Golovkin by decision half way through the 12th.

I like Linares by decision at 15/8 this weekend. Think he's a level above Campbell but wouldn't be surprised if Luke goes the distance, given that much of the fight might be fairly cagey with lots of jockeying for position at long range. Crolla was right in front of Linares and bar a round or 2 in the rematch was never in huge trouble of being stopped iirc.

Also like Parker over Fury. Fury is a good boxer but lacks the pop to get Parker's respect imo. Parker's own power hasn't looked like it's all that in his last few outings though so I think either a late stoppage, possibly aided by Hughie's inactivity/inexperience at the top level, or a fairly wide decision are likely outcomes.

Favour Dorticos against Kudryashov but might have a little bet on Kudryashov to take him out early due to his power. If the fight goes past 4 I think it favours Dorticos.

If he has come to win he'll try drag Tapia into a scrap in the first few rounds and anything could happen. He's horrible to watch but I'm sure he still has his power. I'm surprised Tapia hasn't had a fight since losing to Tabiti last year. Technically he's a better boxer than Kayode but he has lost on the only time he has stepped up. I just think at the odds it's worth a few euro. I'm probably way off.

I'm surprised by how much Parker has gone out in the betting. I can't believe he's 4/5 to beat Hughie. That's the best boxing betting odds of the year IMO. So I'm going to put a lot more on that.

Usyk to beat Huck via KO,TKO and DQ double with Billy Joe Saunders straight win.

Should land both doubles.
And both doubles were landed :yay:. Along with my best bet of the year. Fury did ok but you can't win a fight being that negative. I thought Parker won by 4 rounds but was crapping it a bit. Early Xmas shopping tomorrow!

Sweated out my huge bet on Linares. Campbell made that closer than expected and the Scottish judge him the nod to cause the split. I feel a little dirty betting so much on a big favorite, but it paid off tonight.

Last night I had
Parker to win at 8-11 (£100 for £172 back)
Linares to win at 2-7 (£500 for £640 back)
Linares / Parker double (£500 for £1007 back)

Nothing big but I like to go for steady wins on (what I feel) are easy to predict fights. Never go for method or comedy bets, just steady straight wins. Saying that, last week I put £100 on GGG and Canelo to go over 8.5 rounds for a quick £30 profit.

I had £125 on Parker at 4/5
& £100 on Josh Wale at 2/5
£ 140 profit on the night .

You can get almost 2/1 (39/29) for Ortiz vs Wilder. Way wider than any other bookie.

I have this as an even fight

Eduardo Ramirez fighting Leduan Barthelemy tonight on FS1 got dropped in round 1 in his most recent bout against an opponent with a 22-15 record and 7% KO percentage who is currently on a five fight losing streak. I know these are only featherweights, but I will put some on Barthelemy as a favorite and the KO prop.

Leduan Barthelemy (-250) vs Eduardo Ramirez $250.00 for $100.00
Leduan Barthelemy wins by KO/TKO/DQ (+400) ~$36.00 for ~$144.00
