Thanks. Overall a very disappointing fight. Not many good fighters at heavyweight eitherBaby Face Finster wrote: ↑04 Mar 2023, 21:18The questions surrounding this fight are if Gane can keep it standing because Jones' ground game is way better than his. Gane's only chance is to keep the fight standing. Other questions are how much will the weight gain will affect Jones' speed and how rusty will he be because of the long layoff. I think Jones will still win because he still has the reach advantage and knows how to use it to his advantage.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑02 Mar 2023, 11:10 Can any hardcore MMA fans give a rundown on Jones - Gane?
Jones is the favourite, but this is his first fight at heavy and he hasn’t fought for 3 years. It seems his last 3 fights were not that impressive….
Gane looks massive, I don’t think he has that much power though but at one stage he was meant to be the next greta heavyweight….

I’m just looking for an expert breakdown as I’m a casual essentially.

Heavyweight is a barren landscape compared to all the other divisions in the UFC.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 12:54Thanks. Overall a very disappointing fight. Right. There’s not much there. Pavlovich? Maybe. Stipe - past it. It’s a barren landscapeBaby Face Finster wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 13:06Heavyweight is a barren landscape compared to all the other divisions in the UFC.JamesPhilips wrote: ↑05 Mar 2023, 12:54Thanks. This weekend's 2 main event fights should be real good. I hope Edwards knocks out that boring Octopus once again.

I'm pretty sure this UFC card is where it's at today. Early start time today from London UK. ![[icon_wink.gif] ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
