Usyk is 33... AJ is 31... You wouldn't have thought it tonight, Usyk looked the younger and fitter man...
The result of Popa Loma and his dancing training. He was lithe in the lower half, at least.
Popa Loma is so under the radar, just because he doesn't have a huge roster, speak much English, or hog the limelight - oh yeah, that's why he is under the radar

Joshua has become a safety first fighter after Ruiz ko'ed him, but he just isn't good enough to win like that against the best boxers. As a pure boxer AJ is average.

True. Joshua got a lot of dividends in advance. I always was saying this. And a lot believed in those things being genuine. So, he kinda got exposed.

Is McCracken an overrated trainer? He seems to have taken away what AJ is good at (smashing peoples faces in) and turned him in to what he’s not (a crafty skilful boxer). What were they thinking trying to box and move? He needed to go in there and rough the little guy up. Doesn’t take an expert to see that

Exact same scorecard and rounds that I had
Same. Thought it was a pretty easy fight to score.

The only thing that’s surprised me is seeing punch stats since the fight & Joshua comfortably outlanded Usyk in round 10. Id have to watch it again

I can’t see why Joshua’s team want a rematch. I could be missing something but he wasn’t beaten tonight by a huge shot he was comprehensively outboxed. I don’t see what he can change within 6 months to allow him to win that fight.

They want a free boxing lesson? Actually, a one where they even get paid.

Nothing else he can do really,he won't win the rematch, won't even be close next time,Usyk pushed him back, threw the harder more accurate shots, completely outboxed him and hurt him a few times,,went exactly as i'd said earlier

I guess that’s the only motivation but if your Joshua surely you do a Dillian Whyte rematch. Far more winnable & he’d probably sell as many PPV’s as a Usyk rematch.

I have no idea how anyone can find five rounds for Joshua. I had it 117-11 and gave the close 8th to Joshua. He also had the 5th and 6th.

I think Joshua just wanted to survive the last 4 rounds. And if Usyk was in a routine defence rather than fighting for his first HW title, he could have ended that.
Foster gave AJ 2 rounds for the fireworks on ring entrance.

What would be ideal would be for one of the bodies to strip Usyk so that AJ could fight for the vacant title against TBA

I suspect there are two factors or maybe three in mind in the camps cautious tactics, their knowledge of Joshua’s limitations RE (1) stamina (2) chin, and maybe also (3) that as uninstinctual and stiff as he is, that put together with 1 and 2 mean he has to be cautious as late in fights he could be very vulnerable even to a non puncher if his gas tank goes

Could also be not just his camp but that Ruiz took his balls like Rosario took Camacho’s.

He was cautious against Pulev FFS

He wouldn't beat Fury, but imo he would have slighty more chances against him, than against Usyk. It would be simply easier to land vs Fury, and lucky punch is the only way for him to beat fighters like Fury or Usyk. Still, Fury would be a huge favourite.
