Have no idea what Kron Gracie is even doing. I can understand UFC just using him for his name. Been givien the luxery of cherry picked opponents and has shown absolutely zero legitimate interest in fighting. Id say he's doing it for the paycheck, but cant imagine he's getting paid much either.
Plus, despite his surname, he hasn't brought neither any excitement nor any notable win to justify him fighting in a PPV card, and should be cut after this fiasco against Bryce.

Apparently some military guys did a podcast doing a deep dive into Kennedy, dubunking a bunch wild of claims and military achievements Kennedy had made in his book and speaking publicly over the years.

Kennedy made a response video, which i saw, not knowing what had happened.

Apparently he didnt address, or clear up, any of the serious allegations. He then complained to YT and got an 18+ age restriction slapped on the podcast about him. This sent the military/special forces/ green beret ect. youtubers into a frenzy and he seems to be at the bottom of a massive pile on at the moment.
I have watched that podcast and I feel amazed at how someone with a slight bit of common sense could believe some of the things he has written, looking like something out of Rambo II/III; the veteran debunking that stuff was admirable in keeping his calm and not calling him out for his delusional attitude.

Yeah ive not seen the podcast, or read his book. Just some shorter response/opinion vids that came up on my YT feed, so didnt want to pretend i knew the whole deal.

I did listen to him on Rogan a coupla years back. He was talking about being part of a team that was pulling civilian allies out of Afghanistan before the Taliban regained control of the country. Now i remember at the time not wanting to think he was full of shit, given the seriousness of what was happening over there. But the way events played out in his own words really did, like you said, sound like it was a script for a Rambo movie.

So i wasnt particularly surprised when the allegations came out. Will have to check out the podcast at some point.

Last UFC FN had some fun stoppages, Cub on top.

Buckley is now unleashed and looks like he smashed Covington out of the UFC.

Well Tim Kennedy cant seem to catch a break at the moment. Just as the fallout from the Antihero podcast had just begin to simmer down, he is back under the spotlight with his association with the cybertruck beret in Vegas. Both partnered in a military themed reality tv show on the History channel. To add salt to the wound the Antihero Podcast dropped a second installment focused on Kennedy in the last coupla days.

Thought this posted by another Green Beret Youtuber was hilarious

Merab derailing Nurmagomedov was a beautiful sight to behold. Umar claiming Merab had been avoiding him was so laughable. Merab turned up the heat in the last 3 rounds and made Umar look like he had run a triathlon. I was so happy to see Eagles MMA suffer a defeat.

Makhachev's submission was impressive but it looked to me for the short time that it lasted that Moicano had better standup and that is why Islam decided to take it to the ground, which is smart. Why play to your opponent's strength? I still dislike Islam though. He comes across as a very dull personality without any ounce of humour.

Merab was a solid underdog too. Jiri was value as usual

I didn't watch it but the Adesanya KO is shocking to me. He has really declined since the Strickland loss. Since then he has been submitted and KO'd. To think he was calling out Jon Jones not that long ago was quite farcical.

It looks like after Pereira, Adesanya has become increasingly gunshy and his chin has weakened; I was expecting a grappling-focused plan by Imavov. He can also throw hands, but this stun was worse than Strickland's...

Strickland did well to go the distance given what happened to his nose. Really are tough as old boots some of these MMA lads.

Busted beak is painful for sure and the first time can be a lot of blood. The ability to brush off the pain and stay focused and keep rocking is one trait of fighters that makes them a breed apart

Interested to see what will Topuria do now that he vacated (if Lopes wins, a rematch with Movsar will be down the line). Plus, Patricio Pitbull will also debut at featherweight against Yair.

Della Maddalena is an ideal replacement for injured Rakhmonov.

About DDP, Soldić came back with a spectacular KO and I hope he joins UFC soon as Reiner did

Good to see Gaethje took a year off, and i think Hooker was a really good match up for both guys, with their current standings in mind.

Now that he's pulled out though, ooft, cant say im thrilled to see Fiziev as Hookers replacement. Id usually have a little more consideration for a short notice opponent, but i get the impression Fiziev is one of those guys never far from fighting fit. Their first fight was a war of attrition, where both guys dished out, and absorbed, an unreal amount of punishment. Wouldnt be ideal to repeat that scenario after being flat lined. Obviously not writing him off, id just hate to see him decline overnight from one war too many, like Tony Ferguson.

Ankalaev fought the smartest bout against Pereira and deserved it, guy has been slowly rising and building his status brick by brick.

Gaethje/Fiziev II was another gem, this time around Justin was more focused and threw crazy stuff from the clinch.

Ryffy's spinning kick had shades of 2012 Barboza.

Leon getting beaten again by a dominant grappling strategy, maybe he has had great luck in his title run (Brady too has been whooped by Belal)

Gifted win for Ulberg, at least we get some fresh blood in the light-heavies

Thainara looked impressively strong for a female straweight, some tough debut

I did not expect Pimblett to win in this dominating fashion, but neither him and Chandler are right now real top 10 guys in that lightweight division (Jean Silva looks levels above).

Dull debut by Pitbull Freire. Volk almost had us thinking for the worst, but rallied and dominated a game Lopes.

Jean Silva fights at the division lower ....

Should have known Ian Garry would have stalled his way to a win tonight but felt Prates blew it.

My bad, I confused Jean for Ruffy, thanks for noticing it :OhYes:

Prates was gassed out in the last round, too late to blow Garry away

RDR once again reminding us variety, experience, being battle-tested, beats pure talent which hasn't been proved yet (this should be a lesson for Nickal). Goofy, but lethal

At 36/37 years old, and with that injury, it could be sadly over for Figgy
