There were alot of bad decisions at the tournament including one at 178 in the semi finals this kid out of Chicago named Armando Pina clearly outboxed last years champ Stephan Franjic out of Canada and then Steven Gaffard ended up beating the Canadian in the finals and he didnt even look to good doing it that fight was a close up for grabs type fight and Armando made it look easy but then again why am i surprised

No - too massive a task. And it's a national "invitational" tournament, not a ranking or advancing.

Mel, didn't little ol' me prove it wasn't that hard? I recorded 30+ fights (most of which are already online and would have been Sat night if it wasn't for stupid hotel wifi) and posted all the brackets and bout sheets daily. I was delayed on some stuff due to internet issues. I did that all by myself. Posting the results which are recorded in a computer program isn't that hard. Oh wait, yes it is, yes it is. Any tourney directors who would like my services, I charge $250/hr. to get you online. :DDD

No disrespect intended at all, but 30 bouts wouldn't have even covered the bouts in 1 ring on finals day. It's a massive, massive tournament. But, I'm a bit of a propeller-head, and I have a few ideas that will get the results posted next year.

I would disagree with that statement. I know of a very few arguable decisions - but the officials really did do an outstanding job as a whole. I was particularly impressed with some coaches that I saw. Truly "coaching" from the corner - telling their boxers to be respectful to officials and the other athlete and their coaches, etc. I saw many displays of this and it put a smile on my face.

Congrats to all of the champs, coaches and officials.

Why should USA Boxing spend monies they don't have to send a staff member they don't have to spend the time posting a gazillion bout results? You did a great job, unfortunately I couldn't read many of the bout sheets. :(
