yeah well... i picked the iron rhino in 7.....probably too influenced by the briggs fight
my take on the fight was that kirby had no plan B and didnt receive much help from his corner.

Kirby is big & strong, but lacks ability.
Solo has moved from fighter > boxer to certain extent.

I agree, especially over the last 3-4 fights, with that being his best performance, his stamina has appeared to increase as well, allowing him to do 20 rounds over the last month.
I can't believe Johnny Lewis wasn't in his corner.

No disrespect to Johnny, but he is over the hill & is these days unable to read the fight RbR.
Much younger Rick Kulu & Alex Tui were in his corner

Bad result for the Aus Heavyweight scene really. We realistically just have a few average blokes who will never make it on the world stage. On the other hand I guess it is a pretty open division (domestically) and there could be some decent scraps.
