Yeah seriously how many mma/ boxing champions in Britain at any weight class or whatever barring the really small ones. Then how many pubs are there? The numbers don't even nearly match.

My local bar me and my mates has a fat couple running it, 5 or 6 old men a few middle aged men who look inbred and a few prositutes pop in every now and then

Calzaghe = pudendum
Reid = pudendum

Fight in a ring = Calzaghe KO
Fight in a cage = Reid sticking JC's head up his own arse.

It doesn't matter how you dress this arugument up, or involving who... the answer is always the same.

Also, that is without doubt the exeption,a nd not the rule with british pubs.

I'd make an argument that Reid would see off any of the guys mentioned too. His pedigree is certainarly higher.

The problem is it's only people on here, mostly with a grudge against some boxer, that blow this sort of rubbish up into anything important. Tabloids build any story out of the slightest throw-away quote. It's not as if Calzaghe sent out a press release.
Calzaghe didn't do any celeb stuff while he was boxing, why can't he enjoy himself a bit now he is retired. What's it got to do with people on here? The people who slag him off are the ones who are pathetic.

Title of the thread should be I'll TKO alex reid... how many KO's does Joe have, 1 or 2 I'd guess.

I agree on some of that, Calzaghe does get a lot of sh!t and a lot is un-called for. BTW Eddie Shredder Reid would NOT beat Calzaghe in any sort of fight.

You wouldnt even give him a chance of taking him down ? Throw some kicks then go for the takedown, beat him on the ground surely.

So if Calzaghe would beat Reid in a street fight, and you think you'd beat Calzaghe in street fight, then you think you'd also beat Reid in a street fight.

Exactly. Thank you for clearing that up Ted a few people were getting carried away. Some people seem to think all you have to do is go to a Jiu Jitsu gym for 12 months and then you'd be a World Class Boxer....er, as long as kicks and take downs were allowed...NONSENSE.

Calzaghe would beat Reid wearing an eye-patch and a sling on one arm in a no hold barred contest. Could a P&O Ferry beat a speed boat. No. Could Reid beat Calzaghe......do the math.
