Hopkins is 47 years old. Father Time has to catch up to him sooner or later.

X2 look what Hopkins did to tarver and what tarver did to Green. Hounddawg's head is so far up Greens ass he can't see the light of day.

Hopkins would be to akward for green. I also doubt Green gets down to 175.

Hopkins at 47 is probably in equal shape to Green who at 39 has taken more beatings than BHop.

Dumb career move.

Thanks mate, maybe you misunderstood me, but thanks for the reality check.

Now it's my turn to give you one.

Your jealous of the man in question, at every chance you or your deluded brother come on here and pot shot the man who would hand you your ass in 30 seconds.
Your not him, never will be and at best would struggle to carry his spit bucket.
So do me a favor and don't be so predictable and nasty everytime a Green thread starts up.
And as a boxer you should know....A beats b,b beats c , doesn't mean A beats C, proven over and over again.

No one could slag him for it. Age is irrelevant when Hopkins is still top 5 at 175

Boxrec rates him no 1, despite his last two fights being a no contest and a loss. Ratings be damned.

Please I just tell it as I see it. As for me and my deluded brother we actually boxed. Did you?? By the way every time you try to Talk boxing your very limited knowledge of the game is exposed. As for being jealous of Green sorry but no. I will say I was A big Green fan before he retired. He also gained back some of my repect after Tarver and the Pole. Just hate it when any promoter, boxer, manager or match maker try to dress mutton as lamb that's all. Being as though this is a forum we are all entitled to our opinion.

try to dress mutton as lamb?

everybody does it in every business.

u r hardly going to talk your up coming fight down r u?

its smart marketing and u would do the same if u could attract the same figures as green etc. imo.

it is cringe worthy though sometimes yes, but if people r gullible enough to hand over their hard earned cash to watch green vs siaca for example, then well done to green on making good cash.

What's the no contest got to do with anything?
And the loss was to a top ten p4p fighter. .nothing against green here mate, historically, the guys who have beaten Hopkins are high volume punchers (Calzaghe) or guys with similar skills/styles to his own (jones/dawson)
Green is neither.
Hopkins would win at least 8 rounds

I wouldn't do the same not every one puts money over integrity. You never even met me so how can you assume that. If he earns money good on him. I like all real boxing fans don't buy it. Just stating that it doesn't sit well with me.

i don't believe u.

anyway, whats wrong with talking yourself and your upcoming fight up and doing the best to maximise a payday?

all he is doing is only focusing on the good points of a fight. why would he want to tell the public about the negative parts of a bout he is promoting?

i bet u wouldn't tell the public about reasons why they shouldn't come to watch u.

I agree Dawg. maybe not the knowledgeable fight fan, but the main stream media would bag this fight. Saying Green is just beating upo another grand father etc etc. And if the fight did happen, as far as the general public went, Green would be on a hiding to nothing. He beats Bhop badly because father time has caught him, an the media says he fighting another over the hill RJJ type. He loses and it will be said he has been fighting stiffs for the last few years. But i say stuff the main stream media. I would pay to see it.

Mate, i boxed AM as a 12 year old( Not professional), i played semi professional football until i blew a shoulder, over and over again. I have written for a website and have recently recieved a new offer for another site. Maybe some think i know a little about boxing, one things for sure, you know nothing about business,( I own a business) your big mouth is currently keeping you from any big pay day now or in the future, .
Just because you boxed doesn't mean shit mate, it doesn't give you any more a opinion than the next, anyone can turn pro these days it's whether your any good that counts, and i believe you were the only one around the world who had Green losing to Wlod, or was that your brother?

I would pay, but it would be the biggest nothing victory to all concerned, as was the RJJ bashing. RJJ wasn't at his best( top 5 rated in light heavy at the time), but neither is Bhop( still hard to beat) so it would be his most futile win since to the media.

I actually want to see this fight between Cameron and Green, 2 years ago i didn't, now it's relevent, i thought Green was taking advantage of Cameron after his beat down, now the shoe is on the other foot and 2 and a bit years on, it makes it seem more a 50 - 50 fight. And i will say this even if Green gets starched in the 2nd, or if it happens the other way. If the Cameron after McCracken stepped in with Green at the time,he would have got smashed. Green ageing and the 2 loss's evens up this fight.

If he wins, i want to see Wlod come back to Australia, we all wanted to see that fight with Green, where he would get stretched and he would go into a dog fight, and for me this was that fight, i would like to see him try 1 more time and this time win( which even though my heads up his ass, think he can do!).

No offense, i don't have time for this anymore, let's just leave it where it started, you misreading what i said, and telling another member that i know shit and my heads up Greens ass.

I'm curious though what is your Business?

Mate the judges had it right at the stoppage, he only had to finish the fight without going down again and he would have won.
I agree he was poorly conditioned, and his nose was busted before entering the fight, see the black eyes at the pre fight press conference, no one ever mentions this, it really, really piss's me off.

You can't honestly sit there and tell me that you thought Wlod was winning? Your admitting to close, how close did you have it?

I had it even, maybe green by one. Judges dont always have it 100%. Wlod won the 11th and if he won the twelfth, had it gone the distance, he would have deserved the W. Especially with a KD.
I thought wlod broke his nose somewhere in the middle rounds?
I don't know the story with him looking busted up at the press conference, who were his sparring partners?
