This is your own quote:
On Scott Belshaw, also stopped in 2 rounds by Tyson Fury: “His commitment and dedication is the same as Lennox Lewis. He will be the richest sportsman ever.”
That was obviously never said. Troll.
Methinks ReggaeReggae needs to lay off the 'sauce'!

i think a butlin will do you good,as you need rounds.hopefully he can provide this.
good thing about you warmachine is that you have come far with roar abilities, once polished you could become a real contender.
it's not your fault you came into the sport late & have loads of strengh which has stopped you learning really as alot of fighters have succumb to this & have not been able to push you.
you come across really well & speak good which should give you good support.
suprised you never hooked up with keith long, he could still provide you with great sparring still.

Very true, might sound silly but against HAYE he would have a decent chance - proper tough 12 round fighter!

Forget Peret, next step up I think. Belshaw has decent skills but too much power will always get him.

I think he will retire.

Who next for Larry?

belshaw has decent skills ???????????????????/ :shame:
dave ferguson would be a good opponent

Yes Belshaw has decent skills. Good amateur, a bit of hype about him when he was undefeated, etc. Unfortunately he can't hold a shot and also doesn't seem to have the heart for it. But he's only lost to decent guys so no disrespect to him. Just he's lacking in some vital areas so won't go any further than this. Still a goods win in good style for Larry - did it quicker than Harrison, which is a nice comparison.

I wouldnt say Belshaw was very skillful, the times before that I've seen him he has never displayed much of a jab, preferring to try more looping shots to the body. I'll acccept that I may have missed an important fight where he fights differently, just telling you what I've seen.

if you ignore the hype...friendships...or any kind of spurious gym talk and look at things dispassionately and from a neutral stance....you will surely only come to the conclusion that a loss to guy like Peret is not the kind of thing that should be appearing on a potential prospect's resume?

I think Larry's feet are a little far apart, I think he should work on shorter quicker steps when he moves in and out, I'd like to see a tighter slightly higher guard and pick shots off on his gloves rather then stepping back every time his opponents loads up. He's such a big strong guy so get him going forward, chin down, high guard and wear opponents down with his immense strength. Also doubling and tripling up on the jab to head and body.

Check out these 2 records

http://boxrec.com/list_bouts.php?human_ ... &cat=boxer

The guy below was beaten by the guy above in his 3rd fight.

Only The Current WBC LightMiddle Champion SERGIO MARTINEZ and the former BRITISH - COMMONWEALTH EUROPEAN AND 2 TIME WORLD TITLE CHALLENGER HOWARD EASTMAN beat him after that.

He had quite a decent career.

Early fights are not an accurate indication of what you can do. B-Hop lost his very first fight.
