Magee is too good for the British level fighters IMO he should be concentrating on europeans and try to get a crack at a world championship.

he'd beat Smith, Quigley and Dodson in my opinion.

Scousecutioner

and Smith is in the European top ten so that could be a goer!

Very good win for Magee, albeit against a badly faded fighter. If I was him I'd be looking for a shot at Bute's title. All the other top super middles are occupied with the Super 6 and there's a good chance that Bute's people will view Magee as another soft defense. It'd be a decent payday for him though, and it's by no means an unwinnable fight (although I'd make Bute a solid favourite, to be fair).

Robert Stieglitz is the WBO champion and isnt part of the SS

True, but I think Steiglitz will be harder to get a voluntary against. The Germans like even weaker opposition than Bute's people, and they also like to keep it in-house...

Adios and thanks for all the emails.
Is there any reason why Setanta Ireland couldn't set up an offical PPV internet streem for events like this Steve?

I'd be happy to pay £4.99 for cards like this in future when they aren't available through a conventional UK Sky system.

PS. Keep up the good work. I can't see it being long before you get a regular slot back on British TV.

Good Luck :TU:

No idea on the internet stream. The fight was terrific - paper predictions I read all had Magee losing late or on points. We had a good time in the studio. The email action was staggering and I will reply to every single email tomorrow.
Let's hope that we can build on this. Let's also hope that Magee can turn the win into a few hundred thousand quid somewhere against somebody - a Hindu Belgian, a Catholic Mongolian or a Jewish Jamaican!

Adios and thanks for watching.

There is money to be made from a big Belfast show, so I can see that happening next. And good luck to him. :TU:

the first hour was very good with questions galore on a wide range of topics. enjoyed paul mccloskey as a pundit. was someone new and fresh to listen to. its a good sign that there were alot of emails. i know a good few that were read out were from irish people. hopefully alot of the ones not read out were from irish people as well , so setanta ireland will take notice. hopefully the viewing figures were good or at least on a par with some of the soccer or f1 that they show.
