MrBoxingUK2 wrote:@londonirish great pick on this fight. you said it would be a close 1. i tipped booth to school marsh but marsh came of age last night and gave the performance of his life. booth was looking for the ko way too much which is not his style. i had it a draw when it was stopped. with booth starting to dominate

I knew it would of been a Close fight, 1/8 is a one Horse Race which i knew the fight would'nt of been. I had Marsh just ahead. 1 judge Marsh up by 2 rounds and the other 2 by 3rounds, even if Marsh lost the last 2 he still would of won by a SD.. I look forward to seeing the Rematch :TU:
yeh hopfully the rematch will be for the ebu british and commonwealth titles like maloney said. how did the 3rd judge score it when the cut happend?

2 had him up by 3 rounds and the other 1 by 2 rounds, could be wromg, does anyone else know?

Marsh was not ahead on all 3 cards. He was behind on one ....

according to the Sporting Life website Marsh was ahead by 3 on 1 card, ahead by 2 on another, and behind on the 3rd going into the 11th.
if he had lost the last two rounds 10-9 which appeared likely then he would have won on one card by 1, drawn on one, and lost on the 3rd judges card , meaning a draw overall.

That sounds right, yes, based on what the pundits had said after the fight too.

Basically, as long as he didn't go down or have a deduction, if he could have (at least) managed to draw either round 11 or 12 on the card that had him two rounds up, he would have won that fight.

Marsh fought well for a start but slowly but surely Booth figured him out and started to take over I had it 6-4 to Booth at the time of the stoppage with Booth seemingly looking like taking the next 2 as well. Hopefully there will be a rematch though because that was a cracking FFN, very high standard and exciting

I scored it even I though Booth won the rest of the round. It was a close fight and Marsh deserves a rematch imo

Just watched Hammond vs Conception and was really impressed with both of them, they gave it their all and showed good skill at time as well. I had it 95-95, very respectful at the end I like to see that.
