This fight with adamu is not formality. End of the day, i think you have to favour adamu in all aspects; title holder, bigger record and experiance, and he WILL hit groves back.

I would love to see groves in with dilks after this, though if successful, as dilks never lost the fight against adamu in a month of sundays and deserves the chance to win it as he did the first time, and would smash the granny out of groves

I agree we were looking at a shadow of the fighter who fought froch. In terms of what i feel adamu's strengths are going to be in the fight, i agree he isn't going to bring much skill to the table against groves, but the way he does swing his arms, groves has shown he is there to be hit, and has wobbled against lesser men. The problm groves is going to face here is a man who isn't going to be shifted by the first power shot he is hit with.
Although dilks wasn't any great shakes in his last fight against adamu, he won by a good couple of rounds on my card.
End of the day smigga, as a supporter of you, the likes of groves and dilks should now be in yor rear view mirror.
Dilks does seem to have a slight problem where churning out a result is concerned, and i think to move forward in the SMW division, he needs to show the kind of grit you have in your last two fights. The question is, does he have it in him to do it?

If you dont get a shot at Magee, and there are no 'lucrative' International fights on the table - Ornelas, Sartison, Miranda, for example... would you fight Groves if you or he became mandatory for a belt the other held?

Charles Adamu who fought Dilks is no way near the fighter he was when he gave Carl Froch an almighty scare in Nottingham a few years back.

I honestly believe George Groves is an immense talent but for that thought to be proved correct he has to dispense of Charles Adamu fairly convincingly - I dont think there is any chance Adamu will get stopped but a near shut out on the cards is required from Groves.

Do I honestly give Groves a chance against the likes of the other Super Middleweights in this country - absolutely - however to get those fights he has to make a noise in the ring rather than in interviews - although as already stated the press release or interview was a masterstroke as it has got people talking/writing about Groves.

Although it would never happen fights involving Groves/Degale/Jaffa against Smith/Dodson/Quigley would be good to see.
