hurlock wrote:your right alba 100% people keep banging on about the prospects who have been pro a shorter ammount of time then anderson, mguire & davids but smith leapt these fighters & they are due a fight.
im a fan of quigley but he's stayed unactive & proposed to box at middle, which aint good pr for someone expecting a return.
degale wont be matched with smith or groves & would have to get in a rift with his promoter in order to do so.
id like too see groves & degale to pair off & the winner face the british champion, but promoters hold out & devalue the title imo. i dont know how happy degale will be in being taken down the inter route as he seems very ambitious & confident.
that is a fair point

Alba/Diggler ,

Tony did not and has not withdrawn from the fight with Kenny Anderson. Both the winner of the purse bid (Maloney) and 2nd highest bidder (Hatton) could not give a date for the contest before the date shown on the bout contract - therefore both Tony and Kenny are waiting to see what the board do about this.

Lenny ,

Im sure both Tony and Paul will box a lot better if a rematch ever happens.

if tony wants a rematch with paul so bad why is he risking his high ranking in prizefighter, where fighters coming off a long lay off dont genrally do well

I hear Tony may not be fighting at all after being "attacked" with a knife 2 weeks ago Steve?

that's real nice & sincere of you.a true sportsman

quigley is inactive & you'd be better off with him (hence the stabbing) then some of the guy's coming your way. You've got a big bullseye on your back & you certainly dont carry yourself like a champion.

It used to be three defences but it became three wins. I think.

Alba,

Were getting confused , Im talking Tony Quigley and your on about Tony Dodson - Apologies if my error. to lazy to check back on thread.

Ian/Home of BB ,

I think the new rules are that you have to have 3 defences , one of which must be a mandatory.

Cheers,

Why would I want to enlighten you, of all people?
You seem to be the fountain of all knowledge when it comes to Quigley or Dodson so I'm surprised you're not at his house with some carnations.

How can I take anything personally from a computer avatar called J C B 1 2 3?
When you give your name and tell me you don't like me to my face, maybe then I'll take it personally. But there's more chance of Dicky Lewis going to Benidorm :TU:

He's a good fighter mate.. Couldn't really say if he''s a big puncher or not as he ain't tagged me with nothing crazy but he's a physically strong kid and quite game, I think a fight with him and the other super middles in the country bar Froch and Paul would be good close fights, Paul is experienced and ready for the next level I think...
