God, if I hadn't already paid for an holiday, I would be attempting to make this. The girlfriend wanted a trip to "somewhere hot and scenic" - I guess Japan could've come under that caption, right?
Still, just a pipe-dream, maybe.

anyone think munroe may get knocked down by nishioka's left uppercut? munroe leans in when he works inside and nishioka has developed a very good uppercut.

i think rendall will make it a good fight. but this is going to be on a bigger stage than any of munroe's fights and i bet they get nishioka a big ring so that he can have extra space vs the suffocating style of munroe. it'll be a different atmosphere. and nishioka's superior sharpness and punch picking will surely be the difference.
i am glad that nishioka has got a good, fresh challenger who has earned his shot. prefer this to jaded mexicans like genaro garcia and ivan hernandez.
reckon the japanese promoters will really give nishioka the push for bigger things, given the defeats of stars hasegawa, kameda and naito. "speed king" is surely the best japan has to offer right now, so i hope he gets the royal treatment if he beats munroe. he will surely be looking to make a statement because hasegawa, kameda and also nashiro all lost within a pretty close period.

On the subject of the fight Nishioka was shaken up in the 2nd round by that Phillipino guy he fought last time and Gonzalez had him down as well so he is far from impregnable, its true he has to get into a rhythm etc but Rendall is going to be far the bigger man on the night and whilst its hugely difficult, he could make this closer than it looks at first glance.
We believe it will start at around 7.30pm their time.

are sky definitely showing it? if so, will it be live or on delay?
this is a must see fight in what has been one of the best action divisions of the last few years.
