What a fuckin joke.....hatton got battered....the commentary was atrocious and those scores are seriously up the left..Another depressing night for boxing when this shit gets pulled.
You could give it to hatton by 1 or 2 rounds max..but to give him every round apart from the first?!!!!!

Wow, those were some shitty scores. I thought Nuz won, but it could have gone either way. All three cards were BS though

Oh thank god Hatton won. I didn't watch the fight but judging from this thread it seemed like a very close fight, you guys almost gave me a heart attack.

When I heard the scores I though Nuz had it..... given the KD and all. I thought they'd gone for aggression.
I thought a draw would have been fair, rediculous cards.

Its worse than that- given one was a 10-8, that judge only felt Hatton lost ONE other round..
Yes I had him winning by a couple of rounds, we have seen some terrible judging on Sky recently.

Yep, those are the scores listed on fightnews as well. Pretty crappy judging. How on earth do these judges come up with such BS. People scoring from their computers are doing a much better job.

Matthew, in a strange way, is fast becoming one of my favourite British fighters. In terms of natural talent he shouldn't be near EBU title class. His defence isn't great, no power, nothing "classy" really.
BUT, he is very hard and fights to the best of his ability. His "nouse" is making him fight at a level beyond his talent and when you think of the fighters wasting their talent - you have to take your hat of to him.

Shame it's a common occurrence these days.

Interesting there was only 1 punch in difference in the punch stats.

I agree. He seems to really want to win and it is evident when he was fighting. What I was most impressed with was the way he closed the rounds strong. It probably won him a few on the cards he didn't really deserve.

Time will tell- a bit like Martin Rogan, I suppose.
At some point, Hatton will be matched against someone who really takes advatage ... sorry but true. Or maybe he never will.

I think Hatton's punches were a lot flashier and more of them were to the head. Nuz did a lot of solid, but unspectacular work, and threw a lot more body punches, which can go unoticed. Add to that the fact that the crowd was cheering everytime Hatton threw, and you get ridiculous scores. The one punch difference shows how close the fight was.

He has his moments where he looks good I think, but he could work more. His languid style at times reminds me of earlier Cotto.

Murray didn't look spectacular, but at least he's got the 12 rounds in. He said he could step it up, lets hope he does when he faces tougher opposition!
Quigg v Reid now... cannot wait.
