I was amazed about Hayes comments regarding what round he would finish Audley, very naive IMO

and how would haye know what time it is in the round, and harrison not??? if they wanted to sync a ko they could of arranged when the 10second 'knock' went of or something... either way, no way was it a fix, haye is so much better they wouldnt need to fix it...

while i do agree with you if you look at this link from 12:50 it does look a bit dodgy

I don't think it looks dodgy at all,
He was just so much better and was showing off that he could end it when ever he liked.

This is all ridiculous. So if someone can prove that Joe Calzaghe had predicted he would beat Manfredo in one round before the fight does that mean that that fight was a fix too?

Or when Khan was knocking out featherweights quicktime is the only proof that those weren't fixed that he never made predictions?

I've avoided posting at all on this fight because to me it was a non-event and a foregone concluston from the moment it was signed. I've been amazed by the people who i thought knew something about boxing who even thought it was worth discussing. Hype is an amazing thing apparently. It obviously doesn't work on me or one or two others here who weren't brainwashed into forgetting that Haye is a few rungs above Coleman Barrett.
Haye knew just like i did that Audley would not throw any punches and would fold the first time he jumped on him.

i think had Haye had the chance he'd have got Audley out in the 1st or 2nd. It's silly to jump in without taking a look. However, I do think he's a cocky f*cker, not as good as he thinks he is and just generally boxing in a division of sh*t.
I don't really blame him for taking this fight tho against Harrison. If I could make 5 million quid so easily I'd do it.
I don't really blame Harrison either....he has done nothing in his career to suggest he'd do anything other than what he did at the weeekend. He made his (next) million on the back of a total pack of lies though. I think he should, and probably will, emigrate and live abroad.
I had no interest in the fight from the outset but Sky/ Haye/ Harrison have basically marketed a total pile of sh*t and ripped people off big style. Some people that would have been one of their first or earlest experiences of boxing.....didn't do a lot for them did it...

That does look dodgy, seems to give him a wink, say now and a few seconds later Aud seems to just fall to his right.

Yes it does mate; Haye said before the fight (on Sky TV) that he knew which round the bout was to end and after the 'fight' that he and his family had bet on round 3.
David haye is a grade A cu@t he ducked the klits to fight this pathetic nonce and rip everyone else of in the process.
harrison is what he is but you shouldnt be throwing words like that about lightly....

as for fixed - get the f**k outta here!

did Ali fix his fights when he used to predict the round?

Ffs….clearly hating on david haye….

You probably think the klits are full of charisma and charm and natural boxing skills…

Ali predicted knockouts in an era where there was no internet and little betting.

with all the shame happening with haye and his fixed fight i cant say i told you so.

i noticed alot of people in davids camp saying it wont got past the 3rd....fixed!!
How do you come to that conclusion?

Harrison was on his feet when the fight was stopped.

If there was a fix in-situ, he'd have done a Jack Johnson & stayed down on the canvass.

There was nothing fixed about that fight. It was simply a case of a man against a timid boy; plain & simple.

What the hell does the internet have to do with it? As for betting, there was a lot of betting on boxing in the 1960s but it was illegal so no records were kept.

Posted this in another thread the other day, think it probably applies to you

I see some people are still rabbiting on about this
including an article in the sun today :witzend:

Allot of people simply have bruised ego's here,
they bought into Sky's hype good and proper and were convinced it would be a competitive fight.

they bought the PPV, enjoyed the pre fight hype and some even backed Harrison for the win :-?

and now they feel stupid,
but there opinion carn't be wrong can it
this was a fight worth paying for or worth betting on.

therefore the only explanation can be

it was a fix  .

the reality is they were sucked in by the hype and should have known better and now just carn't except that.

err because A-Farce didn't know anything about it,
Haye can do what he likes and could only do this because of the obvious differnce in class.
you cant defend haye,he`s lost alot of fans tonight everyone i`ve spoken to thinks he`s a mug.
Maybe you missed heard them and they said 'you' was a mug :D

Na, I wouldn't say Haye is a cu@t, I'd say your the grade A for getting sucked in with all the hype and believing Harrison had a chance going by current form, yes Harrison won Olympic gold but that was in 3 round Am fights with headguards. He got beat by the Belfast cab driver who most probably relaxes with a fag and a pint when not working and you feel ripped off! Na, sorry to say it and dont want to sound rude but you gullible and really only have yourself to blame but i know...You need to take your anger out on someone. Tell you what, why dont you call Haye a grade A cu@nt to his face if ever you see him, that will most prob bring some satisfaction :TU:

You're wrong: I've actually spent the last eight hours watching the video frame by frame with an expert team of lip-readers.

Their conclusion? Behold! The complete transcript:

"The circle is now complete. When I left you I was but a learner; now I am the master...."
