Haye started on BBC too.

Have people 'conveniently' forgot?

Or did they plain old forget.

Witter was managed by Warren for way more fights than Hennessy. But I wont point out the obvious as to who else was at the same weight, being promoted at the same time as Witter.

Mick got him a euro and 2 WBC shots and his highest purses to date without any fan base because he is a nomad.

We also have to remember that when Kevin Mitchell had to find a job on the London underground to pay his bills, Murray was headling his own show on ITV.

To compare Murray to Hatton is hardly fair on anybody, particularly Murray. He's from Manchester and aggressive - but the similarities end there.

When Mayweather made his welterweight debut against Sharmba Mitchell it was in front of 1,100 people in Oregon. And he was an unbeaten WBC champion at Super Feather, Lightweight and light welter. Murray had at least that in attendance for Thaxton and was televised on national terrestrial television. I'm not sure Floyd was even televised.

I think that this "deal" was Bullshit it was widely reported in the press before the super 6 began but the draw had taken place that Froch would need to travel to fight Abraham. No correction from team Froch. Infact, I'm almost certain Froch commented on this before stressing about needing it not to go to the judges.

Amazing that it wasn't remotely mentioned before Froch lost "controvesially" (in his eyes, not in anyone elses) when he travelled to Denmark. It was only mentioned after that fight.

I think there is alot more to this than meets the eye, meets the 24/7 show - I think Froch threw his toys out and said he wil not fight in his opponents back yard.

Might have worked in his favour though, watching the 24/7 show in hindsight - Abraham didn't look confident at all, complaining of being very cold.

I think it was very clever work from Hennesssy - Saurland have got a "reputation" when it comes to travelling and keeping things in house - so it was easy to potray them as the bad guys. On top of that he got the WBC to give them a FULL world title honours, not even an interim title. Kessler will be back, he is not retiring - very harsh that they stripped him.

I have not forgot.Nor have i forgot watching Haye in front of around 200 people in Huddersfield while he was European champ and apparently Spud had to drag half of them in for free,or the two for one deal he stabbed his true fans in the back with when the Barrett fight really didnt sell.Haye sold in the end mainly through the fact he had a great dance partner in Valuev and worked his arse off selling the fight with the "David and Goliath" angle, and then after Ruiz along came Audley and the classic "Yes i can!".Valuev and Harrison have made Haye as much as anything.Unfortunately for Froch, only Calzaghe can get him that sort of publicity and i dont think he is coming back.As for Witter,i think Mick did a superb job with him to be honest.Murray though,is going to have to go if he wants the big fights at home and on a sensible channel.

Kessler vacated. He will be afforded a straight shot upon return. You can't hang onto a belt when officially retire on medical grounds.

His tax haven in Monaco has been sold and he's headed home (despite never living there in first place) which adds to speculation there will be no more big pay days for Kessler unfortunately.

Hennessey has some superb fighters under his wing. The UK television situation is ludicrous and looks like a stitch up. It is not really 'fair' to compare a good World Champions earnings (Froch) to a mega successful champion such as Hatton.

I always get the impression that the boxers who are promoted by Mr Warren work for him; I don't get a similar impression with Hennessey.

I never heard Kessler mention retire - he had to withdraw from the tournment cause the cut needed 9 months to heal up.

You never saw him make an official press conference to Danish media announcing his withdrawal from the Super six and his immeadiate retirement from the sport until further notice on national press websites and the last edition of Fight Camp 360 ?

He withdrew because of a weakness of the superior oblique muscle of his left eye.

I will have to go on the poor promoter side. He had Tyson Fury hyped to shit, "Fury is great, he will be a future World champion etc". Fury gets his ass beat against Mc Dermott in the first fight and instead of turning around and saying I will prove yous wrong, MH hasn't done anything for his career apart from given him some bums to fight. He is going no where.

Darren Barker; going no where, hasn't been in with an opponent that could test him.

John Murray; going no where, despite actually having very good potential and ability.

Lenny Daws; going no where, MH is friendly with Brian Peters surely a fight with Mc Closkey isn't that hard to make.

John O Donnell; also going no where

Carl Froch; Is the only fighter that is actually going anywhere. Fighting very good fighters and showing his potential or in my mind proving he is absolutely World Class with his win over AA.

Tyson Fury: Current English champion and mandatory challenger for the British title.

Darren Barker: Current British champion and mandatory challenger for the European title.

John Murray: Current European champion.

Lenny Daws: Current British champion and has the chance to win the Lonsdale belt outright in his next defence on 5 February.

John O'Donnell: Fighting for the British title on 5 February.

Carl Froch: Current WBC super-middleweight champion and possibly the best British fighter pound for pound.

I don't think you can say any of these boxers are going nowhere. Mick Hennessy is a great promoter and when he gets a TV deal, he will put on some of the best shows in 2011.

You may think I'm being naive, but I don't think Carl would've been happy with a Calzaghe type career fighting bums in Nottingham, even if the option was there. Carl's always said he wants to fight the best, whether this approach is good for Carl in the long run or not (financially and physically) is difficult to say, but when Carl hangs them up he'll be able to hold his head up high knowing that he give his career everything and regularly pitted himself against the best...... Calzaghe and Hatton can't claim that.

Carl could have done with better exposure since the Super 6 tournie started, but as I've said in previous posts Mick and Carl have been royally fcuked over by TV companies. If a boxers career is soley judged on how much money he earns then may then I suppose Carl should have taken the modern day approach to boxer/promoter relationship and moved to Warren and had a court case or 3 with Mick, but he gets more respect from me for showing the rare quality of loyalty
Hatton can claim he pitted himself agaist the two top pound for pound champs for years and Calzaghe can claim he boxed, and beat,a better version of Kessler than Carl fought!
Hence why I put the word regularly in the sentence. Other than the fights against Pacman and Mayweather where he got thrashed on both occasions Hatton didn't fight a top class prime fighter, the same goes for Calzaghe (against Kessler)

Froch - Pascal, Taylor, Dirrell, Kessler, Abraham, Glen Johnson ....... and possibly Andre Ward
