Thanks for your positive thoughts, all of you! Yeah my step dad was a good man, former Navy, part of that greatest generation who are all checking out these days. The only grand dad my 10 year old has ever known.

He had a great long and quality life...he was almost 90 and still threw a mean left hook.

(My Bio Dad (former Air Force) checked out 20 years ago..another fella you wouldn't mind having on your side in a tough go.


Gans will be fighting this season in memory of that generation. Bring plenty of simsmelling salts and a quality simstretcher for your bums...uh I mean fighters.

Glad you've got some great memories of your father! 90 is some feat. RIP x

I was torn between Gans and Toney, and was actually going to give Gans the nod but I ended up deciding on Toney for the excitement factor. Will be interesting seeing how both compare (hopefully Toney isn't another Hamed).
