Pretty quick to criticise Sky Billy considering the exposure they've given you and Burns...

Was it Gonzalo Munguia? No? What about Feider Viloria?

& again, I'm not disputing that it was a good win, nor that it wasn't an impressive performance. But fvck me you'd think Burns beat Juan Manuel Marquez the way some of you go on about Martinez.
i might be wrong but i'm pretty sure he was the number 1 SFW in Ring Magazine at the time.

It is a very weak division.

Does Martinez have a win better than his victory against Cook on his record?

it last 10 seconds mate and was part of a seperate montage

we only have 4 world champions and they deserve exposure on the show , damn they even spent more time showing the highlighst of the martinez fight...which is a good idea aslong as you do it with our fighters and have a bit of a discussion about it

I have to agree with Datsue. Good win, but Martinez has been made into a far more formidable fighter than he really is.

It was a great win and was roundly applauded in here and on SKY sports.

I didn't see Billy accusing us of being racists at that time...

I could see the point of the argument if it was a proper match up but it wasnt it was a stay warm fight. It didnt have any historical significance. Did it really deserve anything more than a passing mention? They did a decent section on burns and the gym last week.

I've just re-read this and realised what you're implying.

The question needs to be asked - do you have a chip on your shoulder?

You're starting to sound like Kanye West.

it was a good bit they did last week no doubs mate , i just feel that they should have spent at least 5 mins on the fight going over what happened and if there was any news on what ricky is doing next.

Who has Fana beaten that is so much more impressive? Klassen and Baloyi are his biggest names and neither are anything special. Not much between the records of Martinez and Fana as I see it.

I agree. Shows how weak the division is. Looking at the BoxRec rankings I would say that anyone inside the top 20 would have a decent shot at beating any of the current belt holders.

DeGale, Groves, I'm really happy for you and ima let you finish, but Ricky Burns is the greatest Scottish boxer of all time.
