Yes Nigel was very good and in the Championship division of excitement I'd put Paul Ryan, knock em out or be knocked out, loads of bottle and a hands down style. What's not to like?

Are people now saying Carl Froch isn't the most exciting, but is the best most rounded fighter from Britain in the last 10 years (well 11).


Damn that Lewis was crude, and that boxer who beat Kessler wasn't much better.

As for can a fighter look clueless on a non shut out performance - I would say Yes. I would say Hamed looked pretty clueless against MAB and Froch didn't have an answer for Dirrell.

The title asks for the most 'exciting' fighter, so with that there is no doubt in my mind about the answer, Hatton by a country mile!

Froch's level of oposition has been great, his fights are usally very entertaining to watch, but i would not go further than that. Hatton brought excitement on a level that Froch could only dream about, harsh as that may sound!
