And once you`ve got around to reading all those 100 hardback books you have got - hopefully then they will have broadened your knowledge of yesteryears boxers somewhat.

Valuev in the eyes of most won the fight. But Ruiz was out f the ring for years and fought an 8 rounder asagisnt a journeyman as a warm up, DK Special!
Audley was an interesting fight, but overall it's a poor heavyweight resume .
Actually in most peoples eyes he won! You'd struggle to cound more than a handful of punches valuev landed cleanly so there was no chance of him winning - even in germany!

Stivern is canadian and a pretty hot prospect, very very heavy handed. I watched his fight against the fella who ended up in prize fighter. Both fighters were Don kings so he chucked them in the ring together to see which one was worth the attention and stivern smashed the other guy up in style. He was quite a fat fella but he's been working well on getting in shape - i'd tip him for being top ten by the end of the year.
Have some proper FIGHTS like he used to have as a cruiserweight, instead of his pussio running safety first fights against super heavyweights. Fight Arreola, Povetkin and Chagaev- heavyweights the same size with decent reps that he can beat. No use saying the winner of Fury-Chisora, as Wlad has his eye on the winner and will be first in the queue, nor Adamek as Vitali is rightfully there first. Have those 3 fights within a 12 month period, win fans back over and then seek a fight with Vitali. Then he can say he fought everyone at heavy and ducked nobody, even if he did get beat along the way. That's legacy saving, because at least he fought the best. You can't argue with that.
That's the only way to get back into contention. But it is fantasy to suggest it because he has been so inactive that he will not have another three fights and then Vitali. He will have one and possibly none. Everyone of us who stuck up for him through thick and thin will have to face it that his heavyweight campaign has been all about making as much dough as possible, let him retire and have his role as 'goon no.3' in Transporter 4. I can see him in Eastenders.

Just enjoy Carl Froch. He'll maybe lose to Andre Ward, hopefully not. But Ward is going home with a black eye and a week long headache no matter what. And even after that Carl's going to have some quality fights against Kessler, Pascal, Bute, whoever. Help us Carl Froch (and Amir Khan) you're our only hope(s).
There are at least 5-6 HWs in the world better than him. He either resigns himself to European level, fights someone washed up like Holyfield or Tua to make some money, or moves down to cruiserweight - where he clearly belongs.
