great move by judah, its a silly comparison but when tesco stopped doing free plastic bags for a while but i could pay 5p for one i said i would be happy to spend 5p but they wernt getting free advertisement from me so i asked for one without there logo on it ! got a funny look but when you think about it its the same with judah !

In that case, it'll be ok for most fighters to not speak to foreign media. Because a fighter not recieving foreign money, is not out of the norm. This "great move" by Judah achieves nothing, other than generate negative press for him - by both UK and US media - before he goes back into obscurity when Khan beats him (hopefully).

It's a stupid move for any sports star or celebrity to refuse to engage with the media who help generate interest for him/her.

his getting press and thats good enough for a boxer, i hope khan wins too, and i still think its a great move by judah because if he does win uk broadcasters will have to give a share to judah in the future and thats going to make another tv network ditch the khans silly requests.

Good for Zab- the british media have shown no interest in him before so why pander to them now?

I dont really care what he wouldve said anyways- after the trash talking earlier this month Im just glad boxing is back on the agenda and not hype hype hype.

As for Zab Judah, this guy last fought in a school gym holding less then 1000 people and it wasn't even half full so Khan is doing him a massive favour and giving him a great payday but he's choosing to be an ungrateful prick so eff him as after this fight no one will care about him anymore.

Wouldn't argue with Khan's achievements in the ring. But I'm not sure you can give him credit for putting boxing on terrestrial TV. He would have fought on any channel that his promoter told him to. I doubt he cared about giving people who can't afford to fork out for PPV the chance to watch boxing for free. As for "standing up to Sky"....yep, they've turned their back on the biggest broadcaster in Britain (possibly Europe?), millions of potential viewers/fans and their biggest source of income. Great job.

Most people who dislike Khan do so for a reason. I used to be a big fan, but the McCloskey debacle (among a few other things, e.g. the Commonwealth Games unpleasantness) changed that.

As for Judah, he's just a t!t. I guess it's his prerogative not to speak to the UK media, but he should remember that he's not the main attraction here.

The way he has re-established himself is admirable, also his decision to base himself in America with Roach. I also liked the pressure that he put on allegedly to match him hard.

He has shown great talant at 140 and has answered most people's reservation s about his chin. I must confess that the nature of the Prescott knockout and Prescott's subsequent results tend to suggest that his chin is a suseptibility that will always be there but that is just an opinion.

Khan has yet to feature on many P4P lists and has yet to establish himself as No.1 at 140. Therefore some of the adjectives used to describe him may be premature, however for anyone that does not praise him 100% to be immediately dissed as a Khan hater is also overkill. This is a general observation and not directed at anyone in particular.

I am British and would like to see him beat Judah, he is a very well known name and his name on Khan's record would increase Khan's profile stateside significantly and increase the commercial appeal of a Bradley fight.

I think that its fairly safe to say it will be an entertaining fight and I expect Khan to pull away in the second third of the fight as Judah has very rarely been able to sustain pressure or attention for 12 rounds of a fight,

I'm British but I want Judah to win.

It will be a victory for skill over throwing as many punches as you can in one sitting then hobbling away with clumsy footwork.

Fight News contains an account of Judah's behaviour and although it verges on childish, he should be given some credit for accepting the short wedge of the purse and forgoing British TV rights.

I would not dream of stating that he is the draw, he is far from it but he has demonstrated in the past that he will take the short end of the wedge just to take the fight. He accepted 100K to face Corey Spinks in a rematch, just because he did not feel he had done himself justice first time around and produced a career best performance.

For the past few years boxing forum's have been filled with discussions about Haye, Klitscho, Mayweather and Pacquiao regarding why the fights could not be made, who is to blame and these negotiations have indirectly affected the long term legacies of Pacquiao and to a lesser extent Mayweather.

They have also denied boxing fans the opportunity to establish clearly who is P4P No.1 and the star of the heavyweight division

If Judah had not accepted this reduction, the fight would not have been made. Khan may have had alternatives but Judah would not be the first boxer to ruin a match up for inexplicable reasons

It is a good match up with two hard hitting speedsters matched up, one has aged, one lacks experience, Khan is a well deserved favourite to win but this is not an easy nights work.

It also unifies part of the division and Zab could have traded on his belt facing lesser challenges.

Judah is a very crafty counter puncher so it's always going to be a worry in the early rounds. I also expect Khan to win and I think he will win, possibly on points. Judah will be very dangerous early and probably is faster than Khan with single shots. My favourite moment from Judah's career was the left uppercut he landed on Cosme Rivera. Possibly the fastest punch I have ever seen thrown. It was also telling because Rivera had just beaten the hype up James Hare and then goes in against Judah and takes massive shots in the first and second round and gets bombed out immediately. Levels. I would have loved to see James Hares face while he was watching that one. I would say that fight contributed to his decision to retire.

I for one admire Khan for what he has achieved. This is a guy who was blasted out in embarrassing fashion and has EVERYONE doubting him and saying he would never make it etc. Now he is arguable the best at 140. In my opinion, he is the best at 140 right now. He is a good role model for people who have periods in their life where they are feeling down or being told they can't achieve their goals.
