Money where ur mouth is, and all that.

righthook is a big Bellew fan as we can all see by his contradicting posts lol

That said. Ant (as others here will be calling him) will have a very good chance. cleverly will no doubt show-boat and give Ant plenty of oppurtunities ...
Thats why Cleverly is a much more fan friendly fighter. Could you imagine him doing as Bellew did last Saturday?

Its a fight i'm looking forward to. Fingers crossed its in Cardiff. But i'm pretty sure because its sacrificing a warren fighter - it'll be on a big PPV London venue.
And then the question will be. Who would risk buying a ticket with the history of fights falling through??

Taffytoon not being funny mate, but charity starts at home, and another thing bellew will be around 4 maybe 5 to 1 to win by k.o. So il tell u what I will do mate. Il set up the bet on bet fair and u offer me what ever the bookies are offering and I will more than happily put £150 on it.

U must see it from my point of view it would b stupid for me to have a straight bet on that when I can get much much better odds from a bookies.

People over rate cleverly so much it is unbelievable. Am glad they do tho coz if bellew does destroy him and I mean in great fashion, them what will these people say about bellew then???

What is this based on?

Cleverly has a tremendous chin, has never been stopped. Bellew can punch but a third round KO prediction is blinkered.

Captain hook bellew has never been stopped also but no mentions that when they say cleverly will ko Bellew

And also let's not forget about the time when Joe Vegas had cleverly on his ass and his legs were like jelly. I remember coz I was there.

About the bet. That's just god dam stupid. Why would I take evens when I could get 5s, and some1 says yeh but your confident arnt u. Well taffytoon is confident cleverly will win, so that's like saying why doesn't he put his house on it then give the winnings to charity. Come on you's your brains. Why would any 1 take evens when they could get 5s

What have you got to lose?
You can bet £150 with Taffytoon ... and £150 with a booky offering 5/1 ..... if your so confident. Its easy money surely?
Unless ....

Regardless of the argument, asking someone to take a bet at evens when his returns would be five times higher at the bookings is plain silly. Just as thinking he's backing down on his opinion because he won't take such an unenticing gamble. Seriously, I know you fellas are passionate but that particular argument is illogical. To twist it, if you're so confident, why not offer him 5-1?
For the record, Cleverly rightly goes in as big favourite and is likely to win, but 'Ant' has the punchers chance which is all he needs. No it shouldn't be a world title fight, but it will make interesting viewing. If pushed, I'd back Cleverly to win by late stoppage. Both are top lads and I wouldn't really mind either way, as long as its a good 'un.

Good god!!! If u was at the show then how many drinks did u have. It was a trip over his own foot, have a look at the vid if u don't believe me, or just ask any1 on the planet. As for the bet. Again are u stupid????? You say if some1 is confident odds shouldnt matter. Well in that case next time u fancy a fight result even if it's 1-10 why dont u put your house on it? Coz like u say odds are not important.

Come back when you know something about boxing mate

... so your not 100% confident as you first made out then

If you are 100% confident as you initially made out ... it easy money. You can`t lose surely?? And you`ll have bragging rights here. And not look as silly as you do now ...

This is getting a bit silly now. Bellew fell over his own foot watch the tape. So by what your saying is that if a fella slips on some water and the ref thinks it's a punch would you then turn round and say he got knocked down there he can't take a punch coz that's what it sounds like. You mentioned bellews always getting knocked down then used that as a point. Come on mate stop before you look even more of a clown.

As for the bet this is the last time I'm saying this. You must be thick as he'll . Why on earth would I take that bet when I can get much much better odds. I would be doing myself out of a he'll of a lot of money. Well over a couple of grand from what I'm putting on it. And u say u will have bragging rites. Do u honestly think I give a 5hit about getting a point proved, when I can do that and make at least 5 times more having the same bet? Seriously mate have a word with your self your starting to sound more and more stupid.

Bragging rites grow up mate for your own sake not mine

They should be pursuing Danny imo not Cleverley, see how Bellew does against Mcintosh who has a fair punch of his own and and can be awkward

Righthook, for clarity -

It is not a bet, if you want a bet then go to the Bookies and put as much money as you want on a Bellew KO at 5/1. I am offering you the chance to make a charity £150 or even £200 (that would make you a lot of fans) I will 100% pay the money and post the email receipt on this forum should Nathan Lose buddy, A LOT of people on here know me and will Vouch that I am a man of my word (You can even ask Tony himself as he does know me and will tell you that I keep to my word) You say you are 100% certain that Bellew will KO Nathan in 3 rounds, yes he has a punchers chance so I will be out of pocket to the tune of £200, I will be donating to a charity of your choice and will gladly pay it. All you have to do is the same, I honestly do not see the problem buddy? I will still wish both fighters all the best and I openly say that the best man will win. I am confident that Nathan is the better man in this fight and I do honestly think that he will stop Tony, I will cringe for you if he does after your Feather Fists comment

Tony has stopped a good friend of mine in the past (Wayne Brooks) and Wayne still says to this day that it was the hardest he has ever been hit (and he has been in with Herby Hide :o ) So I know full well Tonys power, That said Nathan Cleverly is NO Wayne Brooks, he is a Universe apart and a World apart from anything Tony has faced thus far in his career.

Come on son do a "Virtual Hand Shake on it" :TU:

This should be a decent fight. Good first defence for Cleverly :TU:

I expect the fight will be in Cardiff and Cleverly will win.
:OhYes:

Glad to see this fight happen though, I was disappointed when Bellew had to pull out last time.
Maybe Cleverly could target Braehmer next, just to settle the unfinished business...

Taffytoon fisrly about the bet I'd Luke to say that I know the type of person u are and I know with out a shadow of a doubt u would pay that bet without hesitation, but like iv said in an early post charity starts at home, I am not saying there is anything wrong with giving to charity but for me I would rather spend that £200 on a bet with a bookmaker to earn more money. I do what I can for charity when I can but it's not 1 of my main priorities in life. Fair play for u willing to give £200 away tho mate.

1 other thing to people reading this thread when tafytoon talks of the bellew clev fight, he knows more than most people and what ever he says is usually the truth. So watch this space and let's get this fight on once and for all

i like cleverley's attitude. his style wins fans simple as.

fw is an expert & knows bellews shelf life is rapidly expiring & even tho he's a novice he draws attention buy the masses & clev can be transended by it & if he gets a victory warren has a strong city of supporters to get behind bellew.

When was the last show in Cardiff promoted by Warren??

He may have burnt his bridges with a few venues in the Capital ???

Not sure if this bill has been settled as Sports Network was in administration .....

So Clev is looking for an opponent for his first defence? Did the WBO not award Clev the title when Braehmer pulled out making his first defence against Kuziemski? Nice reworking of history from allegedly.tv.
