I prefer discussing great fighters rather than arguing about them but I couldn't let the Armstrong thing go, he was imo the greatest fighter ever p4p... and certainly should be considered the best ever Featherweight... his record and achievements are just amazing!.... 8)

No, that's OK... I knew I was forgetting someone.

I've done that list before, and I was just thinking it just didn't look right... but I couldn't figure out what the problem was.

That having been said, my list usually looks more like this...

1) Saddler
2) Pep
3) Armstrong
4) Nelson
5) Sanchez

But of course, I could switch a few of these around too... that's why I don't like making these lists (even though I do them anyway)... they're tough to do, and I hate setting things in stone like this.

That's not a woman there... he's just a bantamweight. 8)

Hey, what do you expect a guy's arm to look like when he sits in front of a computer for hours every day.

Saw "The Astronaut's Wife" on TV a couple days ago - interesting flick.

Anyway, what I wanted to say, Charlize is hot - assuming she's managed to lose the 40+ lbs. she put on for her serial-killer role in "Monster," that is...

How fitting that Eric is the one who finally brought this thread to 3 pages.

Right now, I am imagining him standing on a hilltop somewhere, raising his sword to the sky and declaring "It was my destiny..."

Female ape: "Dr. Zaius, what will Eric find on that 3rd page over there?"

Dr. Zaius: "HIS DESTINY..."

Charlize told me she didn't date guys with less than a 5-page thread. So there's still a little ways to go. :D

Nice webpage devoted to Sanchez, by Juan Zurita:

http://www.boxingfanatics.com/sanchezszurita.html

My favorite quote:
Boxing fans throughout the world were shocked and saddened by the news of his passing. One person who was extremely saddened by his death was former opponent Wilfredo Gomez. Gomez was so distressed that he was self-compelled to visit Sanchez?s gravesite and present him with flowers. He also offered condolences to the Sanchez family and frequently kept in touch with them. Every year there is a festival in Sanchez's hometown to commemorate him. Gomez has been the guest of honor nineteen times.

Salvador may have made a solid impression at 130, but in no way does he beat Mancini, Rosario, Camacho, or Davis Jr.
