Something like £270,000 or something.

Only a prick would ridicule an unbeaten fighter having a crack at the consensus no1 in the division.

Respect to Hearn for letting Barker keep his purse but how much did he get from sky. It must of been a fair amount and a good payday for matchroom.

But if Barker had been handed one of the other title holders he might of had a chance to become a world champion and then he could of commanded a much bigger purse for his 1st defence.

Very nice payday indeed, if that's the case.

Would be interested to learn (even through an educated guess) how much Chisora got for Helenius, and what he's on for fighting Vitali. Of course, it's none of my business really, just curious.

'Yes, sir,' I said, before cleaning his clock with a left hook and sneering 'build that, you posh cunt!' The glasshouse beckoned.

The Falklands vet will still be a bad-tempered fornicator. The officer will still be a throbber. I've still got the misshapen nose and didn't get my long service and good conduct medal to go with the others. Eddie Hearn is probably still a bit of a bully. None of it matters.

Did he do this on the drill square or was it because he knew you boxed and wanted to prove a point? (which happens a lot to boxers and insecure NCO's - John L. Gardners son was another example, oh, and Riddick Bowe.)

Simple reason is it is true and Jodie pointed the finger at him in private long before he was let loose with his dads money.

If as some suggest she is only saying it now and because Eddie is famous (is he?) why didn't she name frank lampard who also went to school with her?

The fact is it is true, if it's not why isn't Eddie denying it or even commenting on it? He has something to say on most things so why not this?

I'm not a particular fan of Jodie Marsh as she like Eddie is a media whore hell bent on self promotion. the thing is, when someone has been bullied and oppressed then jodies behaviour of attention grabbing and getting noticed could well be a result of her bullied past. Makes sense.

So basically not only does it appear that Eddie is a pitiful school bully (no deniel) but he is responsible for giving us Jodie Marsh.

Apparently, Jodie is preparing to name names in a newspaper article and donating her fee to an anti bullying charity. If those names have no profile there would be little point so Eddie looks like the prime suspect!
I know, imagine a boxing promoter trying to get media attention. The fricking cheek of it.

Marsh is a sad refelection of a decaying society, where fame is the new religion and whoring one`s soul to achieve it is common practice.

Sadly the muppet in the street give these empty vessels the oxygen they need to survive, buying into the media driven propaganda that these irrelevant people are actually interesting subjects.

Everyone has to earna living, but there are ways and means. Imagine waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror and seeing a person so blinded in their brutal pursuit of fame and fortune, that they are not recognizable even to themselves. That must eat away at a person.

Jesus, is this really worth talking about?
Exactly.

I am probably not the only one here guilty of having bullied people in the past (during my school days) and have deep regret for the upset I know I caused.

A bully usually has troubles of his own and sometimes these can be channelled into negative and abusive behaviour against other people.

It doesn't mean a person is evil.

If Eddie did bully Jodie in school then big deal - the guy was a kid at the time and it's difficult at that age to know the extent of the damage your behaviour is causing.

How people behave as a kid or teen does not define them as a person. It is how they kick on from there that counts most. Obviously bullying should never be encouraged and should not be overlooked and be tackled where ever possible but I do not believe in chasing after grown up people to punish them for bullying offences caused as a child or young teen.

Eddie does seem to get a lot of love on this forum.

My own opinion (based on nothing really as I have never even met Eddie Hearn) is that he strikes me as a bit of a smarmy tw@t.

Unfortunately, he has been joined in that category by another couple of smarmy tw@ts, who by coincidence are also sons of a well known promoter.

Smarmy tw@ts, the lot of em - thats what I say :DDD
