Did Gavin ever fight under the Tibbs?
Nope. Frankie's not fought since his last fight under Arnie.
Shame I would have thought he'd have done well down there.

Chaney is a wise move I reckon. He knows him better than himself in the ring. Also moving back to his mam's house is what's required after the last couple of years.
Frankie needs to be more relaxed and get the smile back on his face again. Life can be cruel at times and he needs to put that to one side now. Personal stuff has sucked up a lot of focus of late, last year was a sh*tter but this year will be great.

Hearing Frankie on facey he appears a lot happier now. Enjoying parts of training that he never used to etc.
All the best, Frankie.

Since the undercard of the 25th show is looking really thin, maybe they'll give frankie the pay he wants and get him in with his originally scheduled opponent Jason Cook??
Cook will not be fighting on the bill

well said frankie, keep busy fight regulary then fight the big names when it matters most, this is your career if you lose then these people will be saying "told you so" instead of thinking "well maybe he wasnt ready for that fight yet". tibbs will get you to were you wanna go and the next fight i you have we will see a massive improvement(no disrespect to farrnel)
Frankie's not with the Tibbs. He has gone to his old am coach in Brum, Tom Chaney, and will also have Dean Powell in his corner.
In that case " the future looks bright, the future looks orange"

Thats a shame.
Any idea who's on the undercard then? Selby and Enzo are not fighting apparently and also Frankie Gavin currently has no opponent.......
Finally the match up we've all been waiting for.....

Good news and a proper test. Great opportunity to start 2012 with a bang and get back to the level you should be at. Looking forward to it.

Most of us don't like being taken for mugs. It's great Frankies back in the ring...but he needs to get back in their again quickly afterwards (like he's said he will be) and then start to step up.

I weren't pointing the finger at anyone in particular, some of the threads do tend toward a real moanathon; I'm not sure that an athletics forum would be the same.

It probably would be mate - people love to moan, far more than they enjoy giving praise or positivity.
