EDIT - Just seen that he's a resident of NZ, so that must explain it...
He would have to beat another American ( Welliver) to get real recognition. Williams' belt is a relic.

Clarence has not achieved much since moving to New Zealand. His losing a fight is no surprise, the importance put on the fight was ridiculous.

[quote="buster007"]amwsnw,

again, what r u whinging for?

u knew exactly what was on offer before u went to watch it.

now u r surprised, pmsl.

the only person u should be blaming is yourself imo.[/quote

I dont think I should be blamed for supporting this great sport. The blame should be targetted solely at the promoters and those who had the hide to call this a championship bout. Dont try and turn this on me. I went there "HOPING" to see more than I did and came away disappointed. I pay to watch 99% of mainevents at home, knowing that some will disappoint. I didnt pay for this becasue I thought it would be shit...this was below shit, hence my comments !!!

Yes I know it was only a NZ belt, but a belt still....Australian boxing is in good shape !!And I must say I love Choc being there. After the comments Trout has been posting on facebook, I think I know where Chocs real interests ly, and it aint fighting a legit champ (or having any of his fighters do that).

Speaking of Trout, there is an article on Fight Saga where Austin claims he wil beat Mayweather at any weight if Floyd can find the balls to fight him. :KO:
He then tells of the time that the manager of Martinez told Austin that he would be too dangerous for a fight with Sergio.
He has a radio interview soon where he will reveal why Cotto is also running scared from him. :DDD
It seems Austin thinks his victory over Lo Porto has made him seem unbeatable to more than just Mundine.

The problem now will be getting Dunny Bill back into the ring to defend his "Claytons" New Zealand title.

Dunny now has to focus on his rugger obligations for at least the next 8 months and then he is a free agent football wise to negiotate for bigger dollars so he can continue in either Rugby code somewhere. Where boxing fits into this timetable is anyones guess!

Mayweather has some gaol time to get out of the way before he can think about Trout.

Yeah, no worries. All I was saying it was worse than I expected. I find it strange that if we are supporting the same sport that you find it ok to bag supporters or the sport, I dont bag supporters just the people i believe are ruining it....any way mate, have your say and I respect it, good on ya.

amwsnw,

look, at the end of the day, these cards will only improve, if people don't go to the pub to watch it, or pay to get it on tv.

the more the numbers drop, the more pressure on them to put on a good show. they don't want to lose money, so they improve the match-ups.

i have no problem with the dunny bill show being ppv or the fact it was for the nz title. if people r happy to pay for it, then good luck to dunny and co. for making money from them. i thought it was pathetic so i simply didn't pay.

I agree with not forking out money for it and there were no more than usual at the main pub in Perth showing it. Am I correct in saying that if you didnt pay for it or go to the pub,you havent seen the card ??

Im picking one thats a boxing nut.

Regardless there is still the curiosity of how he (SBW) was going to go.

I watched at the pub due to curiosity. Im picking thats the same for quite a few of us on here?
