Leapai! Take em out!
He claimed they were all with different women and he started when he was 15. Probably was just a brag, but still... the idea that it's something to brag about even for a man shows the culture difference.Brute wrote:Maybe he was bragging.
How many mothers did these kids have? Is calling a Polynesian promiscuous bigoted?
We had a character in the patrol I worked in who had four kids by four different women. The stupid cows got their heads together one father's day and thought it would be nice to let the kids (all below school age) spend the day with Daddy. The arsehole killed the kids.oliverfennell wrote:He claimed they were all with different women and he started when he was 15. i think that was a pretty big part of it. he looked very tired from about the 4th onwards.Dramatica wrote:I didn't get to see the fight, but I heard that perhaps Alex's conditioning might have let him down.
Such a shame for Alex to lose this one, hopefully there will be some youtube highlights so we can get a better picture of his performance.
unfortunatly Leapai often looks tired after 4 rounds.bigred83 wrote:i think that was a pretty big part of it. he looked very tired from about the 4th onwards.Dramatica wrote:I didn't get to see the fight, but I heard that perhaps Alex's conditioning might have let him down.

alex very nearly had a stoppage win in the 2nd after landing a series of bombs while johnson was on the ropes(the ref was having a VERY close look) i get the feeling another 2 or 3 clean punches would have ended it right there, but it wasnt to be.
the boys went round for round for the next 6 or so, and eventually johnson landed a few good ones in a row, got a KD, and finished the fight pretty much straight after
Really? The online commentary I followed had Johnson winning every round after the 2nd and Ray Wheatley stated that Johnson 'outclassed' Leapai. Hopefully the fight is posted soon.bigred83 wrote:i think that was a pretty big part of it. he looked very tired from about the 4th onwards.Dramatica wrote:I didn't get to see the fight, but I heard that perhaps Alex's conditioning might have let him down.

there was a lot of close rounds, i guess it depends on what your looking for to define a winner of the round. the boys had a huge rest round in 6 i think it was, i gave that to alex cos he started it better. and there was another one that was very close that would have most likely ended with the home fighter.crusader wrote:Really?
