Do you mean, sponsoring? That's a pretty tired old line. I'm sure he will do his country proud.

"There were rumours Vitali would carry him for a few rounds but now he'll be thinking 'never mind that, I'm chinning him'
Says Adam Booth, who really does talk a load of bollocks, it must be where Haye gets it from.

I don't think he talked bollocks at all if anything he seemed quite contrite and respectful of the Klitchsko's.

as for rumours he probably meant opinions in the trade

How many have won the actual fight after being the one to slap or punch opponent pre fight?

Booth just been on 5live saying a date of June 2nd was agreed to fight vitali and everything was sorted apart from who would bring the type of gloves to the table, that was agreed mid December. Then in January they cam back offering different money terms so Haye said no.

When did Lennox start trouble pre fight? I know he clocked tyson , but tyson started it.

The slap could be the most surprising thing that happens in this fight.

Before Lewis/Rahman 2 there was a studio brawl I think

Yeah, that one is a bit of a stretch, but there's still been plenty of victorious slappers.

I don't understand why people are "loving" Chisora for effectively committing an assault. I like eccentric characters as much as everyone else, but as mentioned by others, this is just classless and oversteps the mark. This took place outside the ring, so is legally no different to slapping someone in the street.

I fully expect a painful night for the wife beater. Vitali to systematically break down and stop Chisora in about nine or ten rounds.

An assault doesn't need to result in someone being rendered unconscious.

I thought his actions were deplorable but what it has done is got the world talking about the fight and it will undoubtedly result in significantly increased sales of the event. In that sense job done but Chisora will be made to pay in the ring.

That was a pretty hefty slap!! Very disrespectful and I agree bordiering ona mild assault but come on we are talking about boxers here so it's more the disrespect that's gona annoy Klitschko. I applaud Delboy for it to be honest, boxing needs more characters, more rivalries and more controversy to get it back in the news and sell some actual tickets/subscriptions. It was all very WWE and that is really what gets people talking about fighting sports in particular, those daft moments that spice up a fight.

I think he did it through fear, why did he have his face covered up? He knows he should't be in there with Vitali, I reckon the ring walks are gonna last longer than the fight after that.

I get what you're saying and agree with parts of it. Obviously, as you said, Vitali is more likely to be angry over the lack of respect than anything else.

But the point I was just trying to make was that this unprovoked slap did come under the legal classification of minor assault and although Vitali is a hard man and a big chap, you wouldn't applaud Chisora for doing the exact same thing in the street, even if it was still aimed at Vitali, so why should it be any different, just because it's at the weigh in?

As I've said, I understand your points and don't entirely disagree with your reply, it was more the ignorance of one of the previous posters that mocked my statement, without even offering any insight or intelligent opinion, that annoyed me.
