I was told from young don't get involved in other peoples disputes unless it is your own family, because you could end up carrying the can, I guess no one told you that.
1. OH THE F*CKING IRONY!!!
2.What a pathetic statement to make!!!

Dont misinterpret peoples dislike for you for your boy. No one has issue with Nas, people just thought he would lose to Gavin. You couldn't handle that fact and started your tirade of abuse.
You want to look a bit closer to home before starting to point out other peoples faults pal.

Mr Saf
Having read the 2 threads I am ashamed of my son, I do not agree that with you that he is racist or an Islamphobe though. I did think that I had brought my son up better than to mock the mentally retarded for which I can only apologise. I have thoroughly ticked him off and told him I will spank his tiny little bottom if he does it again.
Please accept my apologies and I hope you do not suffer from all this nasty abuse.

One What's your motive? For instance, I read this forum because I like to keep up-to-speed with what's happening in boxing. I post on the forum to offer opinions on a sport I care about and sometimes just to kill time and have a laugh. That's it. I've no agenda above and beyond that.
Two Having answered number one, do you think that you are executing that motive effectively or could you do a little more, a little less or what have you?
The same reasons you come on here is the same reasons I come on here, plus I try to update true boxing fans on the any fights I am involved with. I have no motive apart from defending my son, a young unbeaten pro, from insults. I feel by bringing up the death of over a 150 people by a suicide bomber as reason to why will not get big support in Yemen is very heartless and the fact that no one on here has mentioned that in the least it is in bad taste to post something like that shows me a lot about the people involved in the debate, how people could have hatred towards a fighter because of someone else, signifies what sort of shallow individuals we are dealing with here. It goes back to ESB when someone put Nasser name up, when we had not been in the spotlight, some of the comments about me and Nas where bad and a lot racist, so people who know nas responded, then these people who attacked Nas and me went on his you tube videos with nasty and racist remarks, when I started posting on here about Nas, they have come on here as well, some are newbies funny enough, just posting about us, now the try to make out all the supporters of nas, on all the stes, are all me, even some that attack us, how strange. Both myself and nasser post a lot on facebook, where nas has a lot of fans, only once has someone attacked nas on there, he got driven off there and blocked everyone, on here it is different as a gang builds up and they with great pleasure attack the individual, internet bully boys, if they came on Nasser site on facebook they would be savaged, thats why people are more insulting on these forums and ESB is worse then this site. I have had a lot of support from people in the industry, who confirmed this is why they don't post on the forums, because of idiots like these who blindly attack people in the industry, because they feel it puts them on the same level. No machi man I don't enjoy this sort of debate, but I fight fire with fire and when you do that someone gets burn't, it won't be me. Peace !
Salaam.
I see where you're coming from, Saf, and I respect your staunch defence of yourself and your son. God first, then family - quite right. What I will say, though, is that I think you may have got the wrong end of the stick with regards to the earlier comments made about Yemen. Every act of terrorism in that country is sickening and my thoughts go out to those impacted by such atrocities. I'd like to think that all those who post on here would share my sentiments but I can only speak for myself.
I believe the poster who doubted the possibility of putting on a big boxing show there simply meant that the current instability in that country would make such a show a logistical and security nightmare. Perhaps he was right, perhaps he was wrong; I don't think, however, that he meant that because people were killed in a suicide attack, there wouldn't be enough living people in the country to fill a stadium. Again, that's just how I read his post, I can't speak for him.
The internet is awash with people who enjoy and argument and enjoy antagonising those who allow themselves to be tempted. Often the best approach is to ignore them. When you do that, they tend to drift away. Again, with respect, your replies do sometimes come across as being very hostile - that's not to say you aren't targeted with hostility yourself - and whilst your strength and loyalty are admirable qualities; perhaps a more guileful approach is more appropriate from time to time.
A great Muslim once said "A lion does not flinch or anger when the monkeys laugh at him from the trees".

Salam, I take it you are a muslim ? A lot of what you said is correct, but like I said if after the tube bombings someone said there would not have the same support for the local team on saturday or they would be now jobs available in the city, the people of this country would be outraged, lets be honest the life of a brit is worth so much, but the life of someone from a poorer country is worth so little, if you are a muslim you should understand that, bearing in mind how many people have died in Iraq, Afghanistan and many more countries. By the way are you suggesting I am the Lion in this case and they are the Monkey's, that sounds reasonable to me, I think I will follow your advice and leave the monkey's to it, bye everyone.

Some of us have mate. It started as a genuine debate and ended up as something it’s a bit embarrassing to be part of to be honest. I try not to make a habit of such bickering, I can count the posters I've had arguments with on one hand, and I've always moved on in the past and usually found some common ground with them (in one issue or another).
In truth, I can't see that happening with Saf. I’m not going to go through why I think that, as it will understandably be seen as inflammatory. For the same reason, I won’t respond to the various points made in his recent posts.
I'm really surprised to see some intelligent people on here still trying to reason with him, but then it dawns on me that I was in the same boat myself a couple of weeks ago.
Enough said, time to move on.

To be honest even though it was not directed at you, as the comment by me that upset you was not directed at you, I will enlighten you, another post where insults where thrown at me and Nasser, though we had stopped posting by a group including the person involved, including jokes of really bad taste, a post where some them were warned and certain insults where edited and pictures removed, thats why I made the comment, if you look later on when one of them showed regret for there actions, I did reply with a compliment and respect. A lot of these people on here have been posting insults on different forums for some time. You should not get involved if you are decent person, because there is an hidden agenda by some of these people, but haters will always be haters, instead of picking out one comment from me in defence, look at all their unprovoked insults, then make an honest assessment as many people who have messaged me with support have done.
