This has now been confirmed, so I'm sending it through to 'Scene. Hope to have more undercard news over the weekend.

When it comes to Upton, I'm feeling a bit "Will you please step out of my sunlight" about the whole thing.

I be happy if just the main fight happens. I fear for my ticket money.

Looks like your in the clear with your ticket money Mr Leforge at the bandwagon is showing no signs of slowing down. The undercard is still largely a mystery but i'm looking forward to it. Parking may be a problem though.

The board has to carry out the actions they have threatened on the Upton Park participants or they will lose their credibility and power, they are being taken to court by the LBF anyway, if they do nothing they could also find themselves being taken to court by the Industry people who pulled out of the show, when threatened with action by the board, they could be sued for loss of earnings. The Industry has been dictated to by the big promoters for some time, the last thing we need now is a big promoter behind the creation of a new boxing board.

What would stop me from claiming that I was due to make my pro debut on the show but the threat of sanctions changed my mind so I continued in my present career? You'd have every boxer, trainer, cutman, manager and other hangers on claiming they were due a role but for the dastardly BBBC!

Best thing for everybody to do is wait and see what happens instead of speculating on the outcome of any action which may or maybe taken

And what would stop every fighter contracted to FWP or managed by FW claiming that they had a spot on the show? We are currently 5 days from the event and only one fight is actually known to be taking place.

Realistically they should stop FW license, they should have done that after he didn't pay Calzaghe for the Hopkins fight

I think it's the spirit of the whole event, given the Munich farce - that one fighter don't have a license, the other was stripped/suspended for his sins. The EBU has kicked Luxembourg out , the WBC followed suit etc.

The lust to earn money means good-sense and relationships get thrown aside.

Chisora / Haye suffered zero consequence for their ruck. Chisora of the pair needed perhaps a permanent ban for slapping, spitting and instigating Haye into a brawl.

Instead he fights on without a care in the world.

People can gloss over everything else all they want - I could give a f*ck about some nobody working a corner or erecting a ring - that all clouds the entire point of it all.

I understand the LBF are still currently in the EBU as they back peddled and lifted the suspension on them. It's my understanding that this part is crucial to the validity of the show (I also Didnt know this till the other day. Lousy Boxrec reporters ;) :) )

All of these lawyers who are supposedly behind actions against the Board need paying. They don't come cheap.

As I understand it, they were told that if they went ahead with the promotion, they would be expelled (not suspended). Interesting point you raise - what constitutes going ahead with the promotion? The first bell?

well surely the suspension would have to be in writing , so in that case would the LBF still be in the EBU until they get that written letter informing them of their expulsion .
