Go use your favourite search engine of choice. Pro wrestlers mostly seem to end up dead by forty, or doing something crazy. Or both.

The vast amount of recreational substance abuse, the brain-splattering amounts of PEDs & the enormous amounts of prescription opiate derivatives they tend to be on (the latter so they can keep gigging through horrendous injuries; no bloody toe-gates for the lads in the leotards) send most of them batshit in the end, I believe.

If the hangover from being pile-driven into the canvas by a twenty stone bloke doesn't do it first, of course.

It was indeed 'potentially' defamatory at the time ;;-)

That is without doubt the stupidest thing I have ever read not just on this forum but the internet.

Bret Hart pretty much names every wrestler who is or was on drugs of some kind or booze in his book.

Ok, I'll ask the question again because nobody has actually chosen to answer it despite it being quoted more than once: Which WWE employee has shot their wife? I'm genuinely curious.

Gomez just answered your question about 8 posts before. Chris Benoit.

Larry would be showing some huge balls to post on here now, in a way i wish he would as we kind of fell for him and took him to our hearts, his marketing strategy worked very well, thats for sure.

ps...i doubt he has huge balls now, the roids will make them shrivel up!!

Nobody did, Benoit strangled his wife so they say. You both have a point though.

Benoit's wife was strangled, not shot. And besides, that likely had absolutely nothing to do with performance-enhancing substances.

I think the boxing world is at last awaking to the drug taking in its sport, more and more boxers are asking for random drug testing before big fights.
But that doesn't mean we will see it at the small hall any time soon.

Exoddus wrote:Larry would have been better off without the drugs. As I've said in a previous post back when he was fighting Sexton. He was just way to bulky which made him slow and would have probably lead to stamina issues if he had gone into the latter rounds of the fight. I got blasted from a couple of people about my bulky statement.

He always looked like a WWE wrestler to me and not a boxer and now we know why.
He got caught for EPO after the Sexton fight which is a drug used to boost red blood cell production and thus increase stamina.

So that's all right then!

In the absence of any witnesses, we'll never know, but it would be foolish to rule out steroid abuse as a cause; the term 'roid-rage' didn't exactly fall out of the sky.

THis is a sickening post, as are all teh 'he was such a nice guy' posts. Just because he posted here a bit; that gives him special status???

The horrible bastard has repeatedly cheated in a sport that can result in death or serious injury.... esp unfair in the heavy division that has no weight limit.

And served 5 years (not sure what the offence is) in prison.

Yup. such a 'nice guy'.............

He's obviously guilty of it, man. Let's just hear his reasons before crucifying him. He isn't the first, or the last.

What reasons could he possibly give that would make his actions anything less than disgraceful?
